  1. Brendan is a progressive coach and we are so lucky to have him.

We have a very good set of business men running the club but the footballing side had been neglected.

Brendan has brought a complete strategy to the footballing operations.

A better transfer policy and seamless integration at all age levels. The coaches now work collectively at all age levels and a pathway seems to have been set from youth to first team.

The Craig Gordon situation was brilliant management and we can see the benefit of how it was handled and have a superior player because of.

It is a tough business and sentiment can be your undoing.

A tough forward thinking coach is exactly what we need to go forward.

    The future is bright.

I have never stepped foot in Ireland but my parents and grand parents stories are part of my attachment to Celtic

  3. Enjoyed that.

Celtic strolled it, and scored two cracking goals to create the record on a day for the fans to remember the League was won some time ago at Tynecastle and invincibility was just icing.

Hearts played virtually two banks of five so they goals flood was stemmed, but not the inevitable victory as Celtic continued with astonishing motivation levels instilled by Brendan Rodgers and his coaching staff. Patrick Roberts had the ball on a string and won M.O.M though Broony wasn’t far behind, with another tremendous game.

The Tifo’s and tributes were different class and Brendan Rodgers ‘called it’ at the end when he said ‘the Celtic support are Celtic’, but what a side we have to sing about and I reckon the dogs in the street round Parkhead could bark the cup final starting eleven?

Nice typical touches from Celtic especially the family values with Kris Commons and

the centenarian supporter who enjoyed her birthday bow in style on the hallowed turf at half time.

By this time next week my eyes will be on the transfer market where we’ll begin to see how Celtic intend to maintain the gap between Aberdeen, and sell Euro briefs in this season of seasons and in the dawn of the 50 years come Thursday.

If yer cancelling Sky, don’t forget to tell them that, as well as disrespecting Celtic etc etc, you do not agree with their employment of tax dodgers like McCann.

That way, even if nothing else changes, at least the wee rat face f*d will be out of a job. Supercilious p***k.

Hail Hail to all true Celts everywhere.

Our songbook will never and should never be changed, no hatred just songs of fallen heroes, the young team will sing it long after most of us aren’t about ……

The “people” who are offended should listen to the words…….

“let the people sing sing, their stories and their songs, their music of their native land”

In my view….I would say you don’t get my Celtic but enjoy our Brendan ….. Happy days :-)

  17. Houl Yer Wheest, I am pretty chuffed OK. That was an incredible game of hurling. I must admit that I never saw it coming. I genuinely expected Tipp to win by 5 or 6 but where the hell did that performance come from.

The trick of course is to keep it going but yes just now I’m surrounded by Grand Kids all of them Tipp born by the way and I’m Happy as a Pig in Sh*t.

  22. Multi-celebrations for Corkcelt – What a day to remember.

Always think of you when I remember going to Portugal for the first time last year as a reccy for this year’s pilgrimage. Loved Portugal, its people, its wine, everything. Stayed in Villamarou and couldn’t believe the amount of Irish Bars in the place. Was sitting with Mrs Scaniel at Figo’s Bar sipping a carafe of red when I looked across the harbour and said “Feck me, they’ve even got a Cork Shop, must go in there for a swally later”. Mrs S looks at me, bewildered. “It’s a shop selling Portuguese cork…Portugal is world famous for cork, imbecile”. Anyway, had to visit it after that (just to make sure) and bought myself a cork hat (not a broad black brimmer, but a tan/cork coloured one) which I shall wear with pride to Lisbon this week.
