    One Malloy 6.07pm

The good lady was at the Phil O’Donell game, it’s the wee blade that is my priority, don’t care if her mum is a Sevconian :-)

But MissGFTB is now telling the bhoys (season ticket holders) who the best players are in the hoops, as Dallas pointed out, am playing the long game, patience is a virtue

Loving Brendan & the bhoys, Brendan is class in everything he does, he must read CQN because I told him months ago, play the goalie that makes the saves “oor Craig” and play the Bhoy that scores the goals “the Griff” that management lark is a dawdle :-)

  4. BSR, it was a cracking display.

I think it even topped the Barca one.

Still riding high on the emotion of the day, so I’ll reserve the right to change my mind, but I think so.

  8. Jimmynotpaul on

Just brilliant I never that I would see an invincible season, I always hoped.

    A joyous day.

New year never bothers me, in fact I don’t even stay up for the bells, for me everytime we have a special occasion like today, I think of loved ones and friends lost, since the last time we celebrated a trophy.

We have lost a few CQNs recently and a few CQNs have lost loved ones, so a big cyber hug to all who are thinking of those they have lost.

    Hail Hail

Again, I was a bit teary when our King Billy (McNeil) there is only one :-) was on the TV, young nephew was on the phone, a lot younger than me quite upset thinking of his gran & grandad, Celtic equals family, although obviously family more important but in my opinion that’s how we roll :-)

Hope all is good on the health front……and for a change, am off the morra, as Mr Geldof said “I don’t like Mondays”

By the way I put in on WFM months go for the morra off thinking it might have been a long day, but the nearer it came the more important next Saturday seems, I have loved the Scottish Cup all my days, treble ? Stuff that just win the Scottish Cup Brendan :-)

  13. Hello Celtic Quick News, just dropping in for ten minutes, what a day today.

The supporters display was done very well, great original idea. John Clark and Billy McNeill were sitting beside me and we were all overwhelmed by the support.

Any thing you want to ask me fire away..

I was a quivering wreck today god knows what I’ll be like on Thursday in that stadium

Take my hat off to the 50 or so Hertz fans who stayed after the match to clap the ceremony, unexpected, there you go.

And a big hail hail to Willie Wallace too :0)

  16. I would say Griffiths for me, he is more mobile, moves around. He’s a busy player, reminders me of myself. Moussa is a different style of player, he is young and tends to drop out the game a little bit. I prefer Griffiths…

Congrats to Cowiebhoy and his daughter, Jenna and her hubby Martin on their news

An inVIncible day with many fine CQNers and a decent football team as well.

Thank you also for all those Wee Shay Green Raffle Army sellers ( and buyers) today for making such an effort. It is very much appreciated.

Good luck to everybody for the draw on Wednesday and I hope you all win some fine prizes.

Can Brendan make a mark in Europe with this squad of players?

  19. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Mr Wallace….

How good do you think Scott Brown is ? I am a Paul McStay fanatic but love Broony

By the way my father thought you were excellent, and he will will be turning in his grave if he thought I was “speaking” to you

Thanks fir all your efforts for our team

    Hail Hail

  20. And if not, where do you think the team needs strengthened?

    And thanks for coming on.

    Brilliant !!!

Wee bit sad that Mr Rodgers didn’t mention the real heroes……

the 30,000 empty seats that held the smoking gun….

    ————————–

Real heroes…kiddy on Celtic fans who cannot be arsed.

    FEK YOU.

How ungrateful they are at times, I was up at 3 this morning, drove Mrs TET to Malaga for a flight to Aberdeen, back home about 10, a 6 hour drive all in and I went to the bar for a bite to eat, she called at lunchtime and bitched cos I wasn’t in, they are never happy mi amigo and we will never win :-)

    Happy aniversary

  23. Willie, thank you for being a Lisbon Lion and a Celtic Legend.

You and The Lions will never be forgotten.

    God bless.

  24. rpmcelticfan on

Ok logs back in to say Hail Hail to a Celtic legend , :-) Mr Wallace where do you think we need or should strengthen to move forward ? , and a huge thank you for all you and your teammates have given us .

  25. Q from WC re 25 years ago…

The old board had a different attitude, the Kelly;s etc, they almost bankrupted the club. What do you call that mob across the road now? Sevco?

The old board sent a letter out to supporters asking them not to go to a Lisbon Lions dinner we had organised.

What a difference 25 years on.

Then Celtic had organised their own event on the same night, but they had no Lions. They sent a bus up to get us. We went down as there were supporters there, so they didn’t really respect the Lisbon Lions.

The 40th year was good too but this is going to blow us away. And the Lions love the fact that it is going to the Celtic Foundation. That’s fantastic and Celtic have been fantastic to the Lions this time around.
