Why is the North Curve called the North Curve?
I remember tickets in the old stadium used to refer to what is now called the Lisbon Lions stand, as the East Terracing.
Looking at Google maps, the stadium (goal to goal) is actually aligned NW – SE, rather then E – W, So the corner between the North Stand and the Jock Stein stand is actually the Northernmost corner. No?

I’ve said my piece on this so I don’t want to go over old ground, but the appeasement thing is just a cliche to shut down the debate. No one is denying 800 years of oppression. No one is forgetting the atrocities committed by the British In Ireland and around the globe. As Greenpinata says, society has changed and people are trying to reconcile. Is it appeasement when the English press goes after their own for singing ’10 german bombers’ or ‘No surrender to the IRA’?

History has shown that appeasement doesn’t work, it never has and it never will.
The Irish-Catholics in scotland have gotten to where they are today by standing up to the bigots, our forefathers would be turning in their graves at the thought of appeasing them.
