    I thought we made hard work of that today…given how little ICT offered. Still, it’s good for the confidence to keep the winning run going.

     

     

    All thoughts should now be on Thursday and not on the disappointing outcome in the LC draw. My preference would be that Sevco are not around come the end of Jan.

     

     

    It’s such a pity that JG can’t feature in the Euro games.

    Good evening all..

     

     

    Not long in from the game. I thought we were good in the first half, but were hanging on for the win near the end of the game. Zaluska made two superb saves near the end and if the first of them was not such a weak header the game would have been drawn. However, 3 points and that’s all that matters. A great turnout at CQN corner and met another couple of esteemed posters for the first time. HH to you all.

    Interviewed before the game for Sportscene re LC semi final draw and prospect of playing some team called Rangers. Don’t think they will be using my response, which was ” no such team but if you mean “The Rangers” or “Rangers International”, then absolutely no I will not be going to watch any such match. Probably not the soundbite they were after.

    If Guidetti loves it just now, playing thistle in front of 18k, I’d imagine we would blow the guys mind if we could get a regular 48-50k packed in the C.P every second week.

    Just waiting for my flight home to Belfast. Thought today was a typical Lenny type game. Played average, kept clean sheet and got 3 points.

     

     

    Still something missing though, hopefully Commons is back for Thursday. Still not sure about Johansen.

    Decent 1st half, but thought we lost our shape when Ronny decided to change the full right hand side of team again

     

    For me, young Calum, really needs to be doing better, the space he left for ICT when he came on was frightening, as he wandered into middle, that is where the problems then came from in 2nd half

    For me, I will not be at our 1st ever game against some new club, even if they manage to survive through to the time of the game

     

    They were 48hrs from Admin, have been given a new loan, which may see them through November? They need much much more to see end of January

    ML and EI were excellent today …. as were the 2 centrebacks … thought SJ did a power of work, and the big man up front was great … Wakaso is showing promise…

     

     

    once RM sorts the middle of the park out, his team will do some damage …. but until he does, this team is going to struggle …

    So we are in the seance cup. Never been afraid of them before and never will be. It has all the possibility of being one of the funniest games ever.
