This is a test of our support.

The LC is crap. If we sell out our allocation, we confirm that we are OF supporters. If we sing political crap, we confirm our OF infatuation.

    Nonsense on both counts.

I’m delighted that your daughter saw us win and had a good time.

I recall taking my kid sis to a game when she was eleven,by God she got it.

Season ticket holder, the lot. Obviously I blame myself.

    I hope you will too.

    Its a brilliant attendance.

Could our 6-0 victory over Partick have boosted the attendance?

    I’d say it did.

I had a wee look at the official attendances of today’s games across Europe and from what i saw, we had the 6th largest.

Another way to look at it would be to say the stadium was almost 20,000 from capacity.

Them there statistics are open to spin.

I fully expect us to get a bye into the Final when that mob run out of dosh well in advance of us getting the chance to horse them!!

BBC Scotland was a disgrace today. Only Jim Spence spoke sense. Tonev was smeared by those jokers.

  6. enjoyed the win …and the wee Swede scoring first made a bit of dosh….

well done to all…3 points… braw

The Huntertainment in 2015 against the Zombies will give us all a clue as to where our Club hierarchy stands….I know where the Celtic heart and soul lives……

we shall find out if they do…..

have a braw Saturday night bhoys and ghirls….

  7. Nye Bevans, not only would i exhort them 2 fight, i would b a ” shadow ” ……….BOO………..M. But we’re not there, and I’m neither here not there………

  8. Good 3 points today . But I,lol tell you something we will need to make our superiority pay . If we don’t finish teams off , it leaves the door open for the hand of the mibbery . We saw today from Thompson what they are capable off . Also feel we need to beef our midfield up , way way to soft for my liking .

It’s absolutely disgusting ….. I heard Celtic fans at the game today actually cheering when the draw was made ….. What self-respecting human being would want that vile / hate-filled sectarian mob back into any stadium hosting sport…..incredible…thank God Michael has plans for their assets

  10. For a bit of fun…can I suggest a celebrity boxing match…Sally McCoist v The Green Man.

Im sure it would be a sell out, and raise loads of money for charity.

Im sure we would shake hands at the end…if he survives:)

Be good for community relations in Glasgow as well.

I did watch the game, and agree that AS worked harder than some, but didn’t think he was effective at all.

Unlike some, I think AS was and is a striker … over a few seasons, when he was being played as a striker, we were creating so few chances, that he kept drifting deeper and wider so that he could be involved. And he seems now to be seen in that deeper/wider role ..

I can’t fault him for that, but I always thought he was more effective up front (providing that someone else was creating chances for him)…. he is not a winger, nor a no. 10, nor an inside left …. but RD seems to like him, and finds a spot in the starting 11 for him… I just dont think he is used in a way that gets the best out of him.

I was in traffic on London Rd as the draw was being made. The car next to us started beeping their horn!!

  16. We should have won much more comfortably today.

If ever there was an example of why we should play

with two strikers it was today.

As for the substitutions they were baffling.

  17. I see the foodbank collection went exceptionally well today. Well done the Green Brigade. Mrsweefra was following updates on the timternet, and she tells me that the collectors were continually getting loads removed by trucks to make way for more. Any updates from HQ would be appreciated. :-)

So far we have failed. Too many obsessives watch every Rangers game, yet criticise Celtic for an OF mentality.

    ————–

No chance, I think Man U will probably take a big beating from the City backlash but they are looking good to finish in the top 4 so will stick with Van Gal.

  27. The Comfortable Collective on

The last Celtic sub today wasn’t baffling. Guidetti signaled to the bench that he needed to come off. And he was subsequently taken off and replaced with another striker.

  28. Captain Beefheart (19:18), hear, hear! We should buy up our entire ticket allocation and then Bhoycott the match. Unfortunately it will mean sacrificing the cost of our tickets, but it will make a huge statement that will be reported worldwide, and prompt questions from the world’s media as to the reasons behind the action.

Paradoxically however, it might be our best opportunity to give Virgil van Dijk and John Guidetti a taste of the atmosphere for which the fixtures against our former Glasgow rivals was famous, and be just the kind of occasion that might help to convince them to stay (a while at least) at Celtic.

    Stick or twist?….

  29. Yes the new club were48 hours from admin and now with mike on board they’ll be drip fed just enough to keep the lights on if its another loan, share issue or whatever way it’ll be dressed up

You are probably right in that it is unlikely to happen …. the timing is bad for united ….but I think LvG is a yesterday man, and I think Klopp (i) is one of the few that they wanted (Mourinho and Guardiola are the others), and (ii) would revolutionize that club.
