    Wow, imagine that, a Celtic 1888 v new them 2012 being touted as an Old Firm game………who’d a thunk it…….all bull aside, we’ve still got to concentrate on the league, Scottish Cup, Europa league & that di%%y Cup to take care of this season………a Treble would b nice ;-))

    My concern is that there will be lots of violence between the fans the atmosphere will be poisonous all the things we dont want to see in football.I for one will have to consider wither I should attend it would be great if the Celtic support did not attend and much safer to. H.H.

    I agree that we have many bigger priorities than the league cup and any semi with the new club. I am delighted our new coach treated them with the level of disdain they deserve in his interview despite questioning which wanted him to say differently.

     

     

    I think the Europa last 16 or 8 is the real big prize we are in focused on. That and an improving sense of what we want to be playing like and what players should be brought in and part of our plans.

     

     

    Annoyingly beating rangers or not in the least important trophy will actually define our season for many celtic fans despite those on here claiming they are an irrelevance.

     

     

    I wish those who will be clamouring for tickets for the semi would be as enthusiastic to fill our stands in Europe or even on a Saturday or Sunday.

     

     

    Mind you the ultimate would be to gub them and see hearts leave them for dead before getting to at least qtr finals and completing a treble.

     

     

    The cups ( league cup and Scottish) later stages all seem sandwiched between Europa ties frustratingly. Still that will be a nice problem come the time.

    Unless there is an official declaration of Sevco’s true status before the tie, because there’s not been one so far, we will finally be enmeshed in the Continuity Myth, the Big Lie, once we cross the white line to play them.

     

     

    That will mean the end of Scottish football as a sport, because it will be based on the lie that Rangers FC did not enter into the irreversible process that is liquidation in 2012.

     

     

    It then becomes a sham, where the rules of the governing body only exist as they are as long as they benefit one team. Whenever they don’t, they will be changed, modified, given a Bryson-like interpretation.

     

     

    I’ll send away for a membership pack for the WWE fan club before I’ll have anything to do with helping to cover up the biggest scandal in the history of British Sport, or watching my club participate in a sham.

    45 minutes since the draw, 3 months to the game and I’m sick listening about it already. Switched off, settled back and watching Bayern v Dortmund.

    Semi money for league cup is syndicated amongst 4 semi finalists. Prices will be set consistently for both. Thus won’t be crazy expensive. Ironically cash split would have not really been any more had any other draw come about. Approx 75000 supporters x £ 30 average divided by 4. So no Sevco windfall.

    It was inevitable, and compared to who we could have been drawn against its an easier draw for us. John Collins will be the man driving the players on for this, he will be well up for it, as will JG after Sleekit making light of his mid week hat trick. Lets just smash them out the way and get into the final.
