As far as Ronny as supporting the team are concerned, here’s my irrelevant slant on things.
Let’s see how the season pans out before making any hasty moves. The first six months of Ronny’s reign were very difficult. He suffered as other mangers before him with the early european qualifiers with players he didn’t know. In the end he got the team playing good football last season. This season he had to get through the same qualifiers with half his backline away and the other half wishing he was away. Not good. Then after storming into a great lead against Malmo the players retreated into their shells and we threw the game away as well as any Champions League chance. That left a big hangover which many players took into the Europa League although I thought in the games against Ajax and Fenerbahce we played some fantastic football (like we did against Inter) but we shot ourselves in the foot too many times. The first half of this season has not been the best but at this time last year we kicked on and played some great football. The key will be forming a team not only to win this league whilst entertaining the fans but preparing it for the qualifiers. By the way, most winters there are many scrappy games as the pitches fall apart.
Ronny has a few months to get the team working as a unit. I’d say now is the time to play the players who will be staying and drop those who won’t. By that I mean Johansen, Commons, Bitton, Mulgrew, Forrest and Ambrose should only be played if absolutely necessary. Johansen needs a move to a counter attacking team where he will do well. Commons and Mulgrew will do a shift in an English championship team. Forrest has become a waste of space and should be punted if possible. Bitton, whilst a good player, slows us down. Efe needs a break. Let Armstrong play with Brown in the centre backed up by McGregor. Let Rogic and Christie fight it out for the no 10 role. Give Allan a run of starts from the left and let GMS and Roberts compete for the right berth. Lets the Griff bang them in then replace him with CKR to see what he’s about. And give Bailly a run. Gordon is a great shot stopper but the rest of his game is poor. Try to get as settled a back line as is possible.
I think if Ronny were to to do that the fans would get behind him and the team even if there were a couple of wobbles on the way.
Although we have had a few stinkers this season it’s not as bad as it seems. We are also being heavily manipulated by negative press. Try animating the team and see if they respond.

In reality I don’t think the clubs ever had that much to reinvest – maybe the FAI. I’d say TV has played a big part in the smaller crowds – all the kids are watching foreign leagues – electronic technology is changing everything I suppose. I worked outside of the country during the 80’s and 90’s. I came back in the early noughties. The meeting will finish by 1.30pm
Every member is warmly invited to attend. Non-members are also welcome but of course in the event of a vote only members will be eligible to participate.

We have been delighted to welcome a high number of new members in the past year and we do hope that they as well as our ‘old faithfuls!’ come along on 27th
Sorry about last night dude. I think I picked you up wrong. Anyway, unfortunately Celtic is a business now. I agree that we played some great stuff to start with against Fenerbahce and Ajax, which I think was fueled by adrenaline. When Efe had his moment of …ahem….indecision, the air went out of us like a balloon. We need players who can cope with adversity. We will probably have a good deal of that next season with the advent of Sevco and the now blatantly overt actions of the MIB.
Finally, if we dispense with Efe, we will need someone with recovery speed to replace him, because neither Sviachenko or Simunovic appear to have it. Replacing Lustig with Janko may help.
