Would like to see Christie replace Bitton and Allan replace Johansen next start.
Not a great performance but great result against a decent well organized team on a heavy pitch. Tierney deservedly MoM. Scott Brown is gradually getting back to speed. A few mistakes in defence would have been punished by better teams. Bitton needs a kick up the backside. And Lustig seems to be regressing. The three subs looked promising.
We could be nine points ahead before the Sheep play again:)))

Our refs should be held to account on their tolerance of robust challenges which border on a breach of Health and Safety laws.
Especially when the same refs apply the same rules properly when refereeing in Europe.

and away at hamilton isn`t a gimme ….
but, for me, the three of them did enough today to merit a start, while the three they replaced didn`t….

The Attacking 4 of Griffiths, Christie, Allan & Roberts looked very exciting in the 12 mintues or so that we got to see them together. Looking forward t them getting more time together in the next match.

Sounded like we did very very well today, especially as FAN-A-TIC pointed out we were playing ICT AND County. 3-0 against two teams can’t be bad. ;-)))
All’s well that ends well. Credit to Ronny D for the half time team talk that gave the team a kick up the bum.
Hopefully the subs showed that they have the ability to occupy Armstrong’s empty shirt.

CG …. MOM candidate as I think the game swung on his save.
GMS had a pretty good game, but still think we looked more cohesive as a unit after the subs.
As ICT were pretty much a beaten team by the last quarter, there is still a question of how that attacking four will defend … our mid 2 definitely need cover… but, I`m prepared to give them a shot at a start and lets see how they do!

Good 3 points at the end up, well deserved motm to Tierney and a fantastic 3rd goal.

We were as good in the second half as we were bad in the first.
It must have been a confidence thing, as we looked and acted very nervously in the first half.
As I said at half time, only GMS was prepared to go at the Caley defence and it was fitting that he got the break through goal.
That settled the whole team, on the back of Gordon’s save.
The bonus was the introduction of the three subs, who all added something to the pot, especially Allan.
The age old question remains. Why are ICT not challenging us at the top? They had us chasing shadows for much of the game.
As the game lasts 90+ minutes, the final thought has to be ,a job well done, with exciting young players to look forward to.
MotM, Kieran Tierney….again.

I think Bitton and the position he occupies in the team is a big reason for our problems.
He can’t tackle .is positionally awful and offers nothing going forward.
Today he created at least 3 chances in central areas for county by taking himself wrong side of opponent and also is to quick to abstain responsibility and pass to a team mate who is under pressure.
We have a good squad it just needs to be put together properly.
REmoving Bitton from his defensive mid position would be a good start.
