    Aye. Pretty much.

Similar in the frozen north of the county.

“What were you thinking of,pulling that howler last night?”

“What do you think I was thinking of?!”

And that was just the lasses. Happy daze…

Just back from my daily visit to see Liam’s 85 year old mother-in-law, who is in the rehab hospital after falling and breaking her hip and arm

Been a tough couple of months, but then I go in there, and see what real problems look like, and just how fortunate I really am!

“But, when yer in the pub and people (not them) are complaining that they didn’t pay for their season ticket to watch Celtic Reserves, what to say?”

    There are a few answers:-

You can’t play a settled 11 every week

We have a lot of players developing at different rates- if we don’t give them games- we’ll never know what they can do.

You have to be able to rotate more players against bottom 6 teams than top 6

We have had a run of tough games and we need to protect players from aggravating injuries or getting burned out.

We have a very important tough game on Tuesday and that’s when you will see our current First 11 selection

When you buy a SB you get no guarantees as to which players you will see each week

Getting to see Celtic’s reserves is a good thing- imagine being able to claim to your kids that you saw Jinky’s first game.

In most games, you do get to see a fair proportion of Celtic’s best players: you will just have to suck up today’s because,a s compensation, we matched a 100 year old record- that’s some consolation surely.

“Some will never be happy, maybe it’s a good thing, who knows.”

I think it’s good to have someone like that as a manager- a restless improver. But as a feature for a fan, “never being happy”, cannot be a good thing. I could only suggest taking up some other activity which makes you happier and gives you joy.

Of course, people are more than entitled to be dissatisfied by individual Celt’s performances and even by the team on occasions but if it never gives you joy- if you are only happy when you are moaning- then I think it’s a self destructive life and very off putting to those around you. Polyannas who only ever see good are equally indiscriminate and incredible.

So, in summary, it’s ok to moan about today’s game but show some regard to the context and the times we are living in, and Thank God you’re a Celt

I love the New Jersey Sound

    I witnessed a crime

    Fair hill

Fact! (As we like to say on CQN)

    Fair hill, thanks pal!

Liam and I are not just brothers, but also best pals. He married one of the loveliest ladies you could ever meet. So, we all look out for each other

  9. PR67

Had a night out in Stranraer with EddieinKirkmichael, Almore and his brother, before our FTSFA Cup tie 2 years ago. The curry was the liveliest thing in that toon that night. Stank of a place.

  10. I did not think any player played badly today.

Clarke decided rogic was a danger and he was crowded out the whole game

We still could have scored 4.

    Move on.

    I bet we beat munich..
