  1. Cosy Corner Bhoy on

Just add my two pence worth on today.

Disappointed we didn’t win but a draw against a team managed by someone I have known for years is a consolation prize as long as we kept the undefeated run going.

As many have said ‘You don’t know you are living.

BTW some famous Celts have managed Killie in the past!!

McGrory,McDonald,Burns spring to mind.Pity about their follow followers!

  2. this is for musicians by all means read if you wont but might get a bit boring. my old man played cornet in the croy silver band some of you might have heard of it. i wanted to play drums not the cornet so he got the drummer tony corrigan to teach me. my dad then taught me to read music this was 1970 iwas 17. i played with some local bands in moodiesburn the harry roch quintet featuring patsy mcann on vocal;s then went down to liverpool to stay with my uncle. got a job in a ballroom similar to strictly come dancing waltzes quicksteps tangos etc then applied for a job in the wookey hollow nightclub in liverpool as stand in for the regular drummer dave josephs. then dave got offerd the job on attarahs band on the bbc she played the flute it was a childrens show so i was promoted to house drummer at the wookey. first week the act tony christie .we always held rehearsals and sound check on the friday afternoon so in comes mr christie with his music he also brought along his young son who was learning to play the drums he asked me if his son could sit and watch i said no problem sothe first song was solitaire by neil sedaka where the drum part is four in a bar or crotchets on the ride cymbal so we start there was a man a lonely man etc etc suddenly on the middle eight mr christie stats going into 8 in a bar or quavers bear in mind his son is sitting next to me he shouts stop why are you playing 4 in a bar i shout because thats whats written down here cue lots of laughter from the musicians and his son said hes right dad true story.

  3. I think BR will struggle to come up with a game plan for Bayern. We could sit in and try and hit them on the break akin to to our Barca win or we just go for it from the off leaving us exposed at the back. I’m in the WTF let’s give it a go and to hell with tomorrow camp. Hh

  4. CCB

Met cowiebhoy today. Showed me where you and our daughters sit.

Just behind me. I’ll introduce myself next game.

  5. Goooood, No it’s a Great Evening CQN

  6. The Spirit of Arthur Lee on

Neighbour just told me that the clock goes back tonight.

    That’s me well fecked.

I have no idea where i got mine from.

  7. Petec….I agree…Rogic is class. Couldn’t believe some of the comments I heard today….wonder if they had the same opinion last cup final day?

  8. I think Killie have pulled a master stroke in appointing Stevie Clark

They will prosper under his proper coaching

Pity, I always want to see them relegated

  9. Many thanks to One Malloy and Lennybhoy. Thanks to you, the two Bavarian Bayern Munich/Celtic supporters who got me 8 tickets for Allianz Arena, will see their two favourite teams play in Paradise on Tuesday.

Maddes and Jurgen send their thanks and fitba love.

  10. BMCUWP

The Band song from earlier reminded me of the late 70’s when we left this part of South Ayrshire to head to Stranraer on a Saturday night for the dancing & ghirls, and the local guys fae Dickshill scheme took exception ! Hence the Night we drove old Dixie down

  11. By the way at no time have I said TR wasn’t a good player, but ffs surely you’re allowed to say he hasn’t set the heather on fire last couple of games?

  12. JIMMYNOTPAUL & DALLASNOTDALLAS

I was at Girvan v EK Thistle cup tie today , have to say they are the dirtiest & worst team i have watched at Hamilton Park ! They’re whole bench and team were a disgrace !!!

  13. Celtic equalled their own British record of 62 domestic games unbeaten on Saturday with a 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock, matching a mark they set in 1917.

However, the run a century earlier consisted solely of league games whereas Celtic’s Scottish Premiership unbeaten streak is a relatively modest 49, the rest made up of Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup ties. We look at the longest league streaks without a loss achieved in European top divisions.

    104: FCSB (1986–89)

The Romanian side set this European record during their mid-1980s golden age under Emeric Jenei and later Anghel Iordănescu. Winners of the 1985/86 European Champion Clubs’ Cup, semi-finalists in 1987/88 and runners-up in 1988/89, a team featuring the likes of Miodrag Belodedici, László Bölöni, Marius LăcătuÅŸ, Victor PiÅ£urcă and Gavril Balint were unrivalled at home. They lifted five straight titles until a resurgent Dinamo BucureÅŸti knocked them off their perch in 1989/90. They also won all 15 Romanian Cup matches they played in that period, making their total domestic unbeaten run 119 fixtures.

Our talk at h/t about our first half performance proved somewhat premature.

Hope we are saving the goals for Tuesday. :)

    Catching Up. Good Post.

But, when yer in the pub and people (not them) are complaining that they didn’t pay for their season ticket to watch Celtic Reserves, what to say?

Some will never be happy, maybe it’s a good thing, who knows.

  17. WAtching the fantastic Ken Burns ‘The Vietnam war’ series on bbc4. A must watch. Absolutely compelling viewing. Hh

  18. Park Rd.

Thanks for that. I will keep an eye out for them and hopefully Cumbernauld won’t be playing them anytime soon.

    Cumbernauld beat Thornton Hibs 2.0.

    Hail Hail
