Just nipped out for my dinner (a nice plate of mince) to come back to find this heresy!

hope we’re part of the game on tuesday

Tr and MD might be able to hold the ball up or stretch them a bit.

I didn’t see today’s game – hope TR hasn’t ruled himself out with a bad performance.

I always go into every game expecting to win,cos that’s just the way I am. Even the difficult ones, cos I’ve seen us beat the best.

I’ve also seen us lose against, erm, not the best.

I’ll still be going into the Bayern game expecting to win. And if we don’t,I’ll probably ask myself-“Well,what did you expect?”

Tell you what,I’d rather support Celtic than, say,Swindon Town. Or a deid club who canny wait for hallowe’en.

  5. GLENDALYSTONSILS. cant beat a plate of mince and tattiies or as my english wife calls it mince and mash.

    Okay, I hear you.

Firstly, you do not have to pass it on. Secondly , if I cannot question your opinion or your need to pass on your second hand opinions then I agree with you. Heaven help us all.

  7. Stevie Clarke, rumour had it that we were after him and big Joe McLaughlin who was with Morton at the time, when Davie Hay approached the board it is alleged that John McGinn’s grampa told Davie that if he wanted them then he would have to pay for them himself.

We were top of the League at the time but poor defense cost us the opportunity of retaining our title, which was won the year before at Love Street, we were top goalscorers with 90 goals but gave up 41.

Brian McClair was top goalscorer, won both POTY awards but took off for Old Trafford at the season’s end.

The beast won them their first title in 9 years, what could have been if it hudnae been for the parsimonious board.

If my memory serves me well they also won the LC when butcher dived in the box and mitb slyme, nae friend of ours or his da, gave a penalty. the kid on ben affleck got sent aff and shamed the club by making the sign of the cross on the way aff.

Trains again, chatting to a lass and missed my stop. Off at Irvine.

Canny even blame the bevvy, one pint in The Horseshoe-which was mobbed.

I’ve got three weeks of getting slagged for that. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

    Might see you on Tuesday.

Was out in the local park today walking her and met a young girl who had a breed of dog I had never encountered,She told me it was a Pomsky….a cross between a pomerian and a husky….or as my wife said when I told her….you mean a fecking mongrel !!!!

ss, kt, md, tr, broonie – there’s enough quality there to hopefully get a couple of decent 10 minute slots against bayern – wish I was going, I’d love to see quality that good at CP – the team I’ve seen most at CP is accies – holy ship!

I remember my pal’s dad berating TB for blessing himself after scoring the winner. Down on his knees….

When you’re only 10 you trust adults to tell the truth – well I did!

You didn’t immediately think and respond, ‘he can do what the fek he likes…….get back to the Quo Vadis or that funny weird hall you stumble out of at the end of the road…..and how come you say you don’t like football but you seem to especially dislike Celtic?’

TONTINE TIM-a bet you’re glad that’s off your chest mate:-))

*honestly I despair at some Celtic supporters, I remember the years in the wilderness, the great Jock years and the others after that. But I also recall the despair during the good times.

When we win trophies neither luck or favouritism comes intae it. We are the ones that should be singing “nobody likes us and we do care”.

Best tae enjoy the good times as they won’t always be there.

Was that the game Tony Sheppard was also sent off by Slyme and then allowed back on when he realised that even he had taken it too far.

I have the music on tonight. I’ve just listened to The Band, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.(Live Version) I know he’s not Canadian but Levon Helm’s vocals are outstanding. No wonder Joe Strummer said drummers shouldn’t be allowed to sing except Levon Helm.

Incidentally do you have an opinion on Robbie Robertson and allegedly stitching up Levon for royalties. Comments on you tube below the song are most unflattering about Robbie Robertson.

I remember my pal’s dad berating TB for blessing himself after scoring the winner. Down on his knees….‘Could have caused a riot……’

*sad state of affairs tae live in a country where demonstrating your faith could cause a riot and we have a cheek tae point at the middle east and Africa and their fanaticism.

I’m watching Notre Dame right now and they have priests on the touchline, at the end of the game the whole team, coaching staff and fans sing “Notre Dame Our Mother”, this in a country that’s only 21% Catholic.

After that wee midden done that in the LC Final Danny McGrain said he had no problem with the likes of Pat Bonner or Tommy Burns doing it as they had great belief but a wee phonie who the night before didnae go along with Neilly Mochan and the rest of the Catholics in the squad tae the Saturday night vigil only did ittae rile up the hun support.

They already had a Catholic (Spencer) on their books and some of them were now open tae more but he was the last one they wanted and for good reason tae.

Thanks for the book mate. One of the Clydebank bhoys on the train asked, ” Is that the bible you are reading G?”

“Aye, the Rastafari bible.” I replied. :)

Dylan was my first musical hero, so I have always been partial to Tne Band. Some of the most extraordinary musicians.

I have always thought Levon had some mental health issues, but never really looked into the royalty issue.

FWIW, Robertson’s autobiography is one of the best music books I have read, so it may have swayed me to the RR camp a bit
