  1. does anyone know why JHayes was not in the squad today with all the changes ? also heard season ticket holders commenting on that the only time you will see a full strength starting 11 is if you purchase a CL package and why play 2 holding midfielders at home against the bottom of the spl team.

    SS loss of form worrying?

  2. INVINCIBLE 'GG on

    Warning Warning Warning

for Apple phone or tablet users

I am getting pop up warnings on CQN on my iPad saying my iPhone, sic, may be compromised, directing me to another site

If anyone else is seeing same it is almost certainly a PHISHING attempt.

Close CQN down and do not follow link.

I thought Ntcham had a great first half. I think he picked up an injury early in the second half blocking a shot. Eboue did well too.

  4. JMCCORMICK

To clarify I never said we need a fortress.

But our performances at Celtic Park have been a little short of expectations so far.

We seem to be a little disjointed at home to date.

  5. Note Bene Natims, clocks back hame fall back the night, ours is next week, so our game on Tuesday is 3:45 pm ko on the east coast as opposed tae the usual 2:45.

  6. RON67

You asked 3 questions, although your second one was missing the ?

No idea the answer for the first one , best leave that to the manager. Why don’t you ask him? He seems to have answers for most things.

Second one, again you pay your money and you take your choice, how big was your database from which the opinion was formed?

As far SS , I refer you to my first answer. The manager makes the call.

Enjoy your evening, leave the worrying to the monsters who frequent the dark side.

  7. FAN-A-TIC

Apologies if required, I thought you said at 6.34 or thereabouts that we were no longer a fortress and it was down to Brendan.

    Ah well, no problems ….

  8. JMCCORMICK on 28TH OCTOBER 2017 6:56 PM

i will make sure i ask BR the next time i bump into him also several long time season ticket holders.

  9. GREENBINGLEYTIM

I LOVE THAT Brendan gives youth a chance. Before the season started I posted that I hoped Ajer,Miller,Ralston and Johnson were integrated into the squad this season.

But to many changes at one time disrupts momentum.

So I want to see youngsters play in a settled side to increase chance of success.

  10. So that’s it then,no one is allowed to question the team selection or say anything that might go against the grain on here now?

  11. Fairhill Bhoy

Team selection was fine today, we just didn’t play particularly well against a very well organised side.

But feel free to criticise, it’s why we are where we are – we don’t just doff the cap and accept things…

  12. Since the beginning of last season,we have had,4 draws, and 4,one goal wins at Celtic Park.If we think back,we can all remember them. All against, what turned out to be,bottom 6,or relegation teams. In a lot of the 4,one goal wins,we were hanging on at the end.Remember?.

As fantastic as we are doing, this is a problem that needs to be eradicated. We seem,as was the case today,to have so much of the ball,we then start to lose concentration.Today, for all the ball we had,we could have lost,as in most of the other games.

Brendan has to sort this out. How,I have no idea, but I am not paid to do so.When I know how good we can be,it drives me nuts

This is not a criticism, but something that needs addressed.Celtic Park should be a fortress, but it seems we play better away. Its even happening in European games

    Onwards to 63..

  13. Disappointing result. Would have hated to have lost the record against Ayrshire Stickies! It will be in a game like today that it’ll go…..

Comfortable first half, worthy of 1-0 but killie improved in the 2nd half as we deteriorated. Steve Clarke for them is akin to us snaring BR. He had them defending effectively and their goal marked their strongest spell.

I have no problems with the changes. We need to use our squad and we need to give our youth actual game time.

Does show you what it’s like ‘sans Broonie’ – his influence is still more apparent when he’s absent.

Felt for PR. Sickener after a great start.

Feel sorry for SS whose form has rather disappeared this season.

My one gripe. Not just ref today. Too many RD era passes that force the player to stall his run or even retreat to collect it.

Compare and contrast with last Wednesday’s flowing, dynamic football.

    HH jamesgang

  14. Four crucial games in little over 10 days, what do you expect. Would loved to have won, but I’ll take that. Still unbeaten.

    KINGLuBO

  15. As I said much earlier….

    Killie would be tricky.

I also said Celtic would win….but not with a lot to spare.

Given the sequence of Kilmarnock s recent successful matches and the appointment of a very credible coach I can’t say I’m entirely surprised at the outcome.

Worst outcome was Paddy out for 6 weeks or so.

  16. What is the Stars on

Anyone else beginning to think that as soon as Rodgers loses this invincible run we should sack him ??

    No ?

    Just me then ?

    Ok sorry

  17. Just bak from Farmfoods…..3 heavy bags later…..we’re still invincible….for me as a 90’s kid….bit of licence there….this is astonishing;-)) Long may it continue ;-))

    H.H.

  18. JMCCORMICK on 28TH OCTOBER 2017 7:17 PM

i’ll ask him the 2 questions you pointed out I was asking.

  19. GUTENBERG-I didn’t criticise anything today apart from say not at our best but 62 and counting, just think people have the right to question or debate things

  20. What is the Stars on 28th October 2017 7:22 pm

Anyone else beginning to think that as soon as Rodgers loses this invincible run we should sack him ??

    No ?

    Just me then ?

    Ok sorry

    ————–

If we were smart we’d sack him before he loses a game

  21. We should have signed Stevie Clark back in the day (80’s I think?). I vaguely remember almost constant chatter about him ( I was young at the time).

If memory serves he later for Clyde at full back and was a Celtic fan. Not sure who he would have replaced in our team back then, but he went on to do well at Chelsea. Hi name used to come up a bit on the old Phil Coles bus post match.

He seems to be a fair manager these days though. Good bit of buisiness by Killie, in this dying wasteland of a game we endure with no strong Rangers.

  22. RON67

Delighted to hear that. I am sure BR is also pleased.

Perhaps you can share the answers on here? It will save you the bother of collecting the survey from your cohort of season ticket holders.

  23. It is a hundred years since we went this amount of games undefeated!

    A hundred years!

I haven’t seen any of the game, so can’t comment, but after the recent run of games, I’ll take that.

    Did we rest some players?

  24. Fairhill Bhoy

Agree, it’s good to question things.

Think a Hamilton day oot is pending once I contact Marspapa.

  25. WHAT IS THE STARS apoligies about before taLKIN ABOUT THE WESTIES sorry about your loss. two and a HALF YEARS ago had five down to 2 now heartbraking . h.h.

  26. FAIRHILL BHOY

Hissy fit? Not at all…. I have the skin of a rhino and the same beautiful features.

Just wonder why we look for the negatives when as a club we have plenty to be positive about.

As I stated earlier I am a glass half empty guy, however at this moment in time, smell the roses. There are plenty of thorns and rancid pongs to worry about in years ahead. HH

  27. Stringer Bell. 7.25.

Yes Stevie C a big Celtic fan.

I knew him when he played for St Mirren ( Professional Youth League ) as it was called then when we were 16/17 years old.

I can see why he made it, he might not have the most talent but he was the most professional. I was neither.

    Hall Hail

  28. FAIRHILL BHOY on 28TH OCTOBER 2017 7:34 PM

    JC2-if you’re about mate!!.

    Fairhill Bhoy.

Is that you looking for hauners :-)) :-))

    Hail Hail

  29. After the euphoria of the last week today was a disappointment, that’s all. Cast your mind back to that great night at Annfield when Big Bad John put the scousers to the sword. 3 days later and it was deja vu when ICT put a much changed side (9 changes) out of the SC.

Didnae hear too many then calling for the head of the Blessed Martin. In fact we were on a poor run at the time drawing with the jambos and losing to deidco (LC Final) the previous 2 games then after ICT drawing again with Dundee and Boavista before finally winning at at home tae Killie and then losing at swinecastle.

We eventually found form where our only loss the rest of the season was in that heartbreaking game in Seville.

  30. JMCCORMICK-brilliant come back mate, like you I’m a half empty guy to,and your correct about enjoying what we have.HH

  31. you know what lads we are all disapointed about todays result. but everyone of us just wants to see the best football team on the planet win and if you dont agree. ill send mr tony donnelly round and just maybe the green man.ktf.
