I think wholesale changes and rest for the ‘majority’ of the team are a must for wednesday.
Of course we should be strong enough with a reserve eleven out there against thistle.
But alas if we are not we should not be too concerned.
The focus should be almost 100% on the championship and the Europa.
The cups are nothing more than a bonus.
The english champions league teams have been relegating the importance of their cups for some time especially the league cup.
We have loved the treble treble run but it WILL end at some point.
Winning the championship every year does not have to end for a long time .

I thought that Celtic played too strong a team against Hamilton. Was happy to see a couple of changes against Killie.
Hopefully there will be wholesale changes against Thistle.

Went to look at the Higlights on BBC site. Five of the six games were there., ours was either missing or I couldn`t find it. If it was the former, anyone know why?

For me the cups are important.A major way of keeping our feet on the necks of the scum across the city.We have enough 1st team players to compete on all levels,barring catastrophic injuries.Win what you can,a great many of us remember when we were winning nothing.Horrible feeling.Be assured,if we dont win the cups,they will.Other teams just not strong enough at the moment.Maybe Aberdeen will be,whe their injured players are back,but at the moment,its just us.Try telling the players,it means nothing.Every player loves winning things,many tell you thats what they come to us for.After Wednesday,we will be in the Semis,two games,and thats the domestic cups out of the way until January.Win them,and the Treble is on again.When did we become so arrogant,that tis means nothing?
