I agree Carrigan, he is a class player and a top finisher, he played well but goals he would normally score for fun just wouldn’t go in tonight. If they had could you imagine the papers tomorrow. Any Manager worth his salt watching would know that, the key thing is he was on the end of all those chances as a good striker should be. Great player, hope he changes his mind and signs a new contract.

Commons and hooper had no luck in front of goal
We were a better team without izzy and sammi
Watt won every ball in the channels and used them well.
Tony stokes will score more than tony watt and lassad if he plays

Big vic … Very slack at the back
But we have to be happy with our win and lead at the top of the spl

Roon ye Sheils. How dumb is that, winding up Celtic before coming to play an away match at Celtic Park. Lucky to get away with only losing 4. Or perhaps his team was guilty of under performing.
BTW. Has this outspoken Norn Irishman had any dodgy parcels sent to him yet or been attacked in the street or by the dug out? No?
Wonder why he’s differently treated from Neil Lennon?

Tonight Young Adam was fantastic as was Tony Watt at running at their defence.
Some night your Main striker cant buy a goal, when we score four is the best nights to do it,
Scott Brown had a good game and delighted for Tony Stokes on getting his goal.
I was that well wrapped up tonight I looked two stone heavier than I am, was ready to moan I was getting to old at 51 then I thought of Che’s auld man at 83.

After a bit of huffing and puffing your prediction for todays game fell into place.
Here’s hoping you are spot on with yesterdays.
That really will be jelly and icecream.

started really well tonight and Commons unlucky ,with two against the woodwork
then we got a little bogged down but still made chances and could have went in
four up. Hooper could have had a hatfull but continued to work away and played well
young watt came on and gave us a different dimension and linked up play well,
and Mathews had a great game MOM, all round very satisfied.

Just back in from a cold, but not unpleasant night at CP.
I hope poor Gary never asked the missus to wait up tonight.
He should have had 4 easily this evening.
Luckily we were well in front near the end when he struck the post
from 5 feet out. made the guys round about me chuckle rather than angry.
I would also like to see the Killie attempt again, It looked very close to being over the line
from my vantage point.
Anyhow, a good 3 points given that ICT were beaten tonight.
A great time to be a Celt.

BCW – absolute howlers from Hooper (and Commons) tonight, some of them were harder to miss than score. Commons hit the same bit of woodwork twice and Sami should have scored too.
Killie should have had a goal in the first half tonight, Zaluska took the ball over the line….as Jinky said, he is defo not the answer. Haste ye back, Fraser!

Find it very very odd the Archie McPherson is being lauded by Celtic fans.
We forget quickly it seems, and forgive. His 50 year career has never seen him favour our team with the slavish devotion he freely offered to the Huns.
Well, shows we are big people and can move on. (not all of us though I still really don’t like him, and don’t buy the “elder statesman” pish.)
My view was fixed when he was at his most influential on air, and he was a Hun. Don’t care if his genial buffoonery is amusing now.
And yes, I know he wrote books about Jock Stien.
===============================================
The day we won the title in 1988 after pumping Dundee in front of 70,000+ at Celtic Park (they were sitting people on the trackside) I was in the Jungle. Archie had been commentating and came out the rickety old tv gantry hanging from the Jungle roof at the end of the game. The crowd was still in place, waiting to hail Ceaser’s heroes.
As the throngs caught sight of him he waved, applauded and pumched the air.
He then walked across the pitch in the sunshine at the Rangers-end goalmouth. Obviously, most of the rest of the crowd at that packed end had caught sight of him, picked up the Jungle’s ‘Archie, Archie, give us a wave!’.
Wave, he did. and once more added a punching fist, which we appreciated.
The actions of a Hun? The actions of someone ‘humouring’ the gallery? That fist, punching the air in triumph. Hmm?
That’s what I witnessed. I’m just saying. Make up your own mind.

Looks like we have found the answer to packed defenses happy to shoo us across the park
SHOOT from distance (but hit the target).
Makes defenses uncertain to stay back or close down leaving gaps.
