  1. West Wales Celt on

    Poor choice Tony.

Think the criticisms of Hooper a little harsh.

Not his best night by a long chalk but I’m left surprised that he didn’t score.

Really well done the Welsh bhoys, Watt and Stokes…

  2. Evening all

Working tonight so missed game. Seen goals. All excellent. Stressful day forgotten.

    Jimbo

  3. Night o second halves tonight? Arsenal Liverpool much better finished 2 a piece, and Celts turn on the style after a shaky first half.

On a different note, can I get all the games on CTV even being in Engurland? I really ought to subscribe if I can, especially if Erchie is gunna be doin the commentary every night! Wonder if Arthur Montford is still working…?

  4. 1-1 in Madrid.

Gotta say it though: RM are sleekit. Typically schooled by ‘the not-so-special one’. Snide wee fouls all over the show.

  5. FT. 4-1

    Decent finish to the match

But from some awful finishing from Hooper could have been 7 or 8

Fourth time in 5 weeks we’ve scored four goals …absent for all

And… I’ve watched some dross at home this season too

  6. Philbhoy - It's just the beginning! on

Thanks for the updates and the goal clips.

    Well played Celts !

  7. well done got there in the end , thought Tony Watt made the differance his running of the channels and ability to hold up the ball or beat the defender and set other up, superb. give the bhoy a run in the team.

pleased stokes got his goal, his return will be like a new signing :) he links well with hooper.

hooper had one of those nights couldn’t buy a goal , thats his price back down

  8. Crazy game, Hooper should have had 4, Watt & Stokes made a huge difference when they came on. ICT beaten so to all effects and purposes, Celtic have won the League tonight. My MOM Matthews apart from 2 goals I thought he played well all night. Victor a liability at the back, we need Efe back asap. Big worries how bad are the injuries.

  9. Thanks for the updates lads and clips SOAL.

Good win and 3 points – hopefully now back on track.

    H!H!

  10. A good win, given what happened at the weekend.

Wonder if Kenny Sheils will comment on Celtic’s performance tonight?

  12. That was more like it!

    What happened on Sunday!

Matthews motm. Tony Watt to start against Raith surely? Hoops – major off night.

Archie – legned! Wonder Kenny managed to keep a straight face!

    HH!!

Great to see Stokes getting on the scoresheet. I thought he had taken the ball too wide but he finished it well.

  14. Well played Celtic great goals and could have had more if Hoops had his scoring boots on,Watt a difference young Tony makes to our attack much more less predictable and with Adam Mathews storming down the wing made us look a more threatening proposition, brilliant to see Stoksey get on the goalsheet I expect more from his as well, just the response we were looking for after Sunday

  15. Neil Lennon Abbot of Clonmacnois on

    Great win. Well done us.

man of the match sponsored by the 1970s – Archie MacPherson.Genius signing by Celtic TV.

  16. Thanks for all the updates…tried watching the stream but I was gonna hang myself…brutal stream..you bhoys kept me alive. At 2-1 I was thinking back to sunday..thank you tony stokes and tony watt…hooper coulda had a hatrick by the sounds of it. Three points and some much needed confidence after the weekend. I feckin hate the ayrshire zombies

  17. Find it very very odd the Archie McPherson is being lauded by Celtic fans.

We forget quickly it seems, and forgive. His 50 year career has never seen him favour our team with the slavish devotion he freely offered to the Huns.

Well, shows we are big people and can move on. (not all of us though I still really don’t like him, and don’t buy the “elder statesman” pish.)

My view was fixed when he was at his most influential on air, and he was a Hun. Don’t care if his genial buffoonery is amusing now.

And yes, I know he wrote books about Jock Stien.

  18. West Wales Celt on

Interestingly there was a period where we looked a wee bit nervy and had the wonder strike not produced a wonder save this game might have followed some previous where we drop points when we’ve dominated possession and chances.

Glad it didn’t but them margins can be slim…

  19. Sammi’s injury could be blessing in disguise, sorry to say but he’s maybe needing some time out to recharge. If he is fit he gets picked this season as opposed to being the game changer of old, the guy saved for the biggest games or brought on with 20 mins to go. Looks like we might get in the scoring groove with Watt and Stokes giving us fresh impetus.

  20. ahh, good thinking neil, play a hooper lookalike who misses sitters, and a mulgrew lookalike who cant cross a ball or take a corner, and keep the real ones to destroy Juve, clever tactics!
