  1. Doc on 24th September 2016 6:08 pm

Catman, I was thinking the same during the game. We will take 10 from someone this season.

    —————-

I was convinced that would happen during MONs time, never did

  2. Agreed doc, some of the football was excellent today. Last weekend think there was a European hangover, wee bit lacking in confidence after the poor result. Confidence on the upward spiral again, and we also have to remember that we have many young players in the squad who are still learning their trade.

Exciting times ahead domestically, whilst Europe will be a tough ride.

PS Hope the ten is against you know who.

    pps –

the green brigade are absolutely brilliant, that was some show today in the north curve

  5. I think we will be a match for any team when we play at home.

It’s our away form that we really need to improve.

Incidentally we had over 30 shots at goal today. In the CL we must have a better chances to goals ratio. However absolutely delighted at both the result and entertainment.

What’s the halftime cash out sitting at ?

SSB have wiped last nights spat off the face of the earth but more importantly today they were highlighting the Ceberal Palsy World Cup and Scott Sinclair was talking about his brother representing England…..his brother is 3 years older than him and is his inspiration “our” Scott has found his football home……hope he scores in every league game

What his brother has face has made Scott “grounded” his word……hope he has a great Celtic career and stays for many seasons

  8. Brogan Rogan Trevino and Hogan supports Oscar Knox, MacKenzie Furniss and anyone else who fights Neuroblastoma on

    Good Evening.

That was a great performance to watch today if you were a Celtic fan.

Some of our players’ footwork and movement off the ball was a joy to see and I thought overall Scott Brown was immense.

Saw Sannabhoy before the game collecting for the Kano Foundation. What an inspiration JP is to every right minded Celtic fan. He represents all that is good about our club.

As usual I enjoyed the company of Malorbhoy, EDB and his daughter Megan and others in the North stand. Great hilarity when young Kieran hit the post as there was a bet on for him to score at any time with the proceeds going to my sleepout fund.

All in all a great day to support the hoops.

i am loving scotty s as a player, i think he is real real quality.

the guys behind me didnt want him to score as it would take over Mcgrory record.

I was the opposite thinking its great to be here when he makes a new record.

i wonder what the record scoring in consectuve league games is ?

surely jimmy as well at sometime. anyone ?

  10. the hooped crusader on

The bhoy who went on the park got handed over to plod at the opening over at the main stand. My mate reckons the lad will do a weekend lie in. Which if true is totally over the top. No harm done by a young guy who looked like he’d had a few beers.

  11. FAO Gerryfaetgebrig & the huddle .

My cash out offer at half time was £40.68.

If Arsenal score again my bet is *#”#*. If Chelsea score then it’s ??????

Chelsea have had a couple of players booked in first half, if they go down to ten men then cash out may decrease cis Arsenal are ripping them apart (no wonder with that total100% dud David Luis in her team !)

He makes Clint ( the man with no game), look like Billy McNeill.

    Decision, decisions ??????

  12. James Forrest is in danger of becoming a one trick pony. All he seems to do is create then score great goals using only the outside of his right boot.

BR will need to sort him out.

  13. Completely off theme…

Just found out about the death of Alan Cousin, primarily of Dundee FC.

A quality sophisticated player in the days when his team mates included the great Allan Gilzean and also Ian Ure amongst others.

In those days Scotland produced fine fine footballers by the dozens.

Hell I must be getting old :-(

RIP to Mr Cousin and maybe to Scottish Footballing talent.

WINNING CAPTAINS on 24TH SEPTEMBER 2016 5:36 PM

    Match report is up…

    ——————–

    “… lost 11 goals in 4 games…”

“The goal left another question mark over the qualities of the 35-year-old former Dunfermline shotmisser who hasn’t had a shut-out since he joined the Hoops from Nottingham Forest last month.”

“The 35-year-old former Dunfermline shotmisser?” Sneering, nasty, tabloid Hun-speak. I’d expect to read that crap in the Sunday Mail, not under a banner proclaiming Celtic News – Not Lazy Journalism.

de Vries has been here for what, a month? Thrown in to the deepest of deep ends at the Camp Nou. The mauling was not completely his fault, I would suggest.

Lost a goal today that, having just seen it, I don’t think Boruc, Simpson, Shilton, Yashin or Zoff could have saved.

I hope de Vries doesn’t read that sly, hunnish slap-down. We’ve got an entire country’s media doing that already, just because of who we are.

Whoever wrote it should be ashamed of themselves.

  15. That was quality.

The awesome thing is, we are just going to get better and better.

Kilmarnock just couldn’t handle tracking our movement.

    A Beautiful Day.

  16. Greenbingley

No disagreement here, I am a Craig Gordon fan but would love Doris to be a success no need for any sly digs at any of our players, if not playing well, we go with what BR picks …..

    For better or worse :-)

  17. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Not at the match but delighted with what I’ve been told of our performance.

BR has the team set up to maul the opposition. Works for me…

  18. From the updates seemed like a first class performance. Their goal could not possibly have been the keeper’s fault because there wasn’t one FFS posted after the goal. That is the CQN definitive test on defensive mistakes.

best result for us tomorrow would be a draw giving us a further 2 points margin but i can live with a dons win :))

  19. Can anyone point me to where you can see our scoring charts for this season. The official website doesn’t appear to host this.

I’d like to see how the goals have been spread out.

Game ko 1215,so any time before that.

I’ll be there about 1130 or so,depends on my train times.

    See ya there,bud!

  21. Ming,

A draw tomorrow between the Sheepies and the New Huns may be best on paper for us.

For me I hope the sheepies gub them. No particular Celtic reasoning, but it will make me feel good.

    Karmacsc.

  22. Ex players of the hun team are never going to say nasty things about their former club……has Davy Provan bemused…….surely its because they are sitting with their hundreds of thousands in EBTS….tax payers money………BFDJ with the classic one when the huns were being liquified…remarked “i blame the banks they should have given the club more money until such times they got back on their feet” by saying daft things ime sure he will get paid well.

  23. Could DDV’s problem be his concentration? Previous teams he played for would bring him into action more often so he would not have time to think about his after game night out.

Canny remember a game where a Celtic left back was so influential.

    ________________________________________________________________________

25th May 1967 the left back in that game was quite influential and I hope he’s keeping well

  24. BMCUW,

Ha, never mind your train times getting there, word on the street is that it’s trains at the end of the night that you have a problem with. :-)

    Allegedly.

  25. The Joy of Sex

Well no, obviously not that but….

I know for professional footballer it us a job of work a very serious job with concentration and total commitment. But….

The great Celtic players, the great Celtic teams play best, play with a joie de vivre, when they just go for it and really have fun and enjoy showing what they can do in front of adoring thousands…..

That was it today. I was neatly transported back to the late 60s….

    Thunderous entertainment!

    HH

PS….congrats to every fan who turned up in such awful weather but supported so brilliantly!

PPS….Dear Green Brigade….when ‘Grace’ is coming up send up a flare (controversial lol) or something….it was more than half way through before I realised!!!!

  26. Piñata and doc .

I watched the incident with the guy who ran onto the pitch . And for me it was the let down of the day , to see two stewards grab the boy and March him round to the Sevco end and hand him over to glasgows finest . I thought the first steward was going to put him back into the stand . But the other jobs worth actually ran as if he was chasing gold to grab the guy . The boy was silly , and can’t be condoned , but to hand the guy to the police I felt was OTT .
