Catman, I was thinking the same during the game. We will take 10 from someone this season.
—————-
I was convinced that would happen during MONs time, never did
Dan on
Agreed doc, some of the football was excellent today. Last weekend think there was a European hangover, wee bit lacking in confidence after the poor result. Confidence on the upward spiral again, and we also have to remember that we have many young players in the squad who are still learning their trade.
Exciting times ahead domestically, whilst Europe will be a tough ride.
PS Hope the ten is against you know who.

I think we will be a match for any team when we play at home.
It’s our away form that we really need to improve.
Incidentally we had over 30 shots at goal today. In the CL we must have a better chances to goals ratio. However absolutely delighted at both the result and entertainment.

That was a great performance to watch today if you were a Celtic fan.
Some of our players’ footwork and movement off the ball was a joy to see and I thought overall Scott Brown was immense.
Saw Sannabhoy before the game collecting for the Kano Foundation. What an inspiration JP is to every right minded Celtic fan. He represents all that is good about our club.
As usual I enjoyed the company of Malorbhoy, EDB and his daughter Megan and others in the North stand. Great hilarity when young Kieran hit the post as there was a bet on for him to score at any time with the proceeds going to my sleepout fund.
All in all a great day to support the hoops.

“The goal left another question mark over the qualities of the 35-year-old former Dunfermline shotmisser who hasn’t had a shut-out since he joined the Hoops from Nottingham Forest last month.”
“The 35-year-old former Dunfermline shotmisser?” Sneering, nasty, tabloid Hun-speak. I’d expect to read that crap in the Sunday Mail, not under a banner proclaiming Celtic News – Not Lazy Journalism.
de Vries has been here for what, a month? Thrown in to the deepest of deep ends at the Camp Nou. The mauling was not completely his fault, I would suggest.
Lost a goal today that, having just seen it, I don’t think Boruc, Simpson, Shilton, Yashin or Zoff could have saved.
I hope de Vries doesn’t read that sly, hunnish slap-down. We’ve got an entire country’s media doing that already, just because of who we are.
Whoever wrote it should be ashamed of themselves.

I watched the incident with the guy who ran onto the pitch . And for me it was the let down of the day , to see two stewards grab the boy and March him round to the Sevco end and hand him over to glasgows finest . I thought the first steward was going to put him back into the stand . But the other jobs worth actually ran as if he was chasing gold to grab the guy . The boy was silly , and can’t be condoned , but to hand the guy to the police I felt was OTT .

In those days Scotland produced fine fine footballers by the dozens.
