    The last para of Herald article is interesting.

     

     

    Suggesting behaviour fell under the OBF bill.

     

     

    How can folk argue so strongly against that bill, which I fully support removing fom statute books yet provide those wishing to keep it so much justification for doing so?

     

     

    That just makes it stupidly short sighted.

    I sit right next to the away dugout and as is usually the case for CL games l was in amongst the Linfield coaches and physios. For the first twenty minutes they hardly watched the action, mostly taking in the GB spectacle. The young subs were laughing and pointing toward them with that look of amazement, having probably never experienced anything like it before. When the rebel songs got cranked up to levels I’ve not heard in twenty years, you could sense their feeling of intimidation, but in the main this would be a stress free night for Linfield’s staff, with little or no harrassment. Somehow I can’t imagine a similar scenario over by if Shamrock Rovers pitched up.

    Tying scarves and naughty banners? Silly, though not a huge drama. No need to repeat either again this season.

    Lol, I honestly don’t see why people are surprised at the usual bampottery from the GB , next up will be the backing up from the CT, then from the GB representatives (no names of leadership of course) they will never go away from they’r agenda, keep an eye out for another Match the fine, or a food drive (all to make them look good) it’s in they’r DNA, i’v said it for years, it’s not all the GB it’s the leaders (the Uni Mob) all they want is publicity.

     

     

    More of my season ticket money gone on paying another stupid redundant idea from some clown who thinks he/they are political geniuses, the irony of it all is it’s not done just off the cuff, believe it or not, they have meetings about this, that’s the scary thing, dullards.

     

     

    Again, that’s only my opinion, and I didn’t need a meeting .

    Don’t get the moaning ‘re the banners. The Scottish media are hypocrites, Orange marches with children barely out of nappies taking over Glasgow and other parts of Scotland wearing what I would describe as military style clothing. Celtic fans once again an excuse to hide real stories in Scottish football by the press. Scotland will never move on if our fans continually give the msm oxygen to their petty stories.

    I hardly think a banner represents the antagonism between them and us.

     

    Maybe Linfield should have brought a marching flute band with them.

     

    The GB are ultras, fanatical about Celtic.

    I love the atmosphere generated by the GB but I question the sense of blackmail that goes with – tolerate the extreme political stuff or else. Can we not move on? Yes, remember our past and cherish it, but there is a time and place and it is not a football match. I live in the North of Ireland and supporting Celtic is part of my life but I don’t want to see such political displays at Celtic games – just how I feel.

    Thought we were a different class to the Belfast lot. We will have to be far more clinical in our finishing against Rosenborg next week.

     

     

    Thought too that our repetoire was dire. Do those who were chanting for the IRA want us banned from Europe or playing our matches behind closed doors? As for the idiots with the banners, are they the same ones as those who were lighting the flares last season? They seem to be occupying the same area.

    That was how it was done when us pensioners were boys.

     

     

    I want Celtic supported in a manner that doesn’t harm the club. Not much to ask.

     

    Unlike others, we strive to play within the rules, whether we agree with them or not.

     

    If they are wrong, demonstrate where they are wrong.

     

    Breaking rules only brings sanctions and more stringent rules.

     

    I dispute your assertion that the GB are passionate about Celtic.

     

    They are not. They are passionate about themselves and their own agenda.

     

    In fact, they are parasites on the body Celtic.

     

    They have no allegiance to the club or football in general.

     

    How in the name of God did we win 9 I a r without the XFactor audience.

    I didn’t see it but yes it was my brother, and yes like myself he is a cheery chap when everything Celtic is all good, as for the G B I have no problem with them as I keep repeating myself, it’s the leadership,they use the young fans to get they’r agenda, and now that the C T are in bed with them ( and have been for a while imo) then it’s all going to end the same way it does every year they bring the political slant that they have and take the enjoyment out of the rest of us who just want to be supporting Celtic in Europe, it’s just a joke, they get the propaganda from the media and in Celtic blogs and that’s them happy again, bunch of attention seekers, bottom line, they’r Ultras, don’t be kidded on, and like all Ultras in Europe, all they do is cause it, and care not a jot about CFC (that would be the nameless leaders of these groups) seems like no one has the credibility to put his or her name to this ongoing ,,,,fine the club agenda, ….kind of along the same lines of the SFA who have spoke to ….the top legal man in this country….strange days indeed.
