    Vale game just finished 1-0 tough 2nd half but that’s 6 wins in a row. If only we’d not been gash for a good chunk of the season

    Well done Celtic…and well done Minella Times @ 11/1 and the Jockey…Rachel Blackmore.

     

    I had the Winner on Two lines Today and also in a Double with a Winner from yesterday called ” Livelovelaugh” @ 15/2.

     

     

    I backed Two horses in the national…Minella Times and Burrows Saint…who was badly hampered by a falling horse 3 or 4 fences out but who still finished 4th.

     

    I was having a poor day at Aintree Today with NO Winners until the National.

     

    Bring on the Sevco….Can Rachel play as a Striker ?

    GENE, The last time I was in Blackpool was in November 1999….on HONEYMOON with my second wife.

     

     

    I tried to go there around September last year for a week, but I couldnt chance it cos of Covid. I was almost booking myself into The LAWTON HOTEL……its all Green and White…lovely ! Check out the Hotel via Google and you will see what i mean.

     

     

    I MAY go down there to Blackpool in a Month or so…IF my health improves a bit…right now, I can hardly walk 10 yards or lift anything, as its agony….although I would have NO Problem lifting a Pint of Beer.

    James Forrest restores natural balance to the Celtic side, and what a miss he’s been for us this season during his lengthy absence. Slow start, as per usual at Celtic Park in the chilly sunshine, but a lot of good football played as we ripped through Livingston for the first time this year, John Kennedy used this game and subs, with a more meaningful Cup tie in mind whenever its played, and is unlikely to vary his line up very much, if at all?.

     

     

    A familiar starting line up, but with Greg Taylor recovered from injury a safer bet at left back than Diego Laxalt the rest of the team, more or less now picks itself and JK hasn’t deviated much from the side left over by Neil Lennon. Mohammed El Younoussi continues to rack up the goals where he pops up in the box, left or right of free scoring for France Odsonne Edouard and fully justifies his selection. The fight for the vacating captaincy simmers and candidacy will be between the two of few remaining players that have rarely let Celtic down.

     

     

    Calum McGregor was sharper ahead of Brown in the diamond, David Turnbull’s tap in was just that, but his best game is still only 70 minutes long, Stephen Welsh dovetails well with the ever excellent Kris Ajer and rarely puts a foot wrong, in admittedly so far in pretty untesting arena’s. Suggesting he could be a key player in the new era that refuses to begin before this one finally Peter’s out. It would be sweet if the return of James Forrest at a familiar stadium, helped this still barren spell to the much greater effect, he’s capable of.

    Good goals and good interplay, I know he at times can be infuriating but I’d keep Elyououssi. Hope wee Jamsie is ok.
