The Little Thin man is in a job cos the laundry masters have decreed it, the NI and loyalist drug and protection money getting washed through the bigot dome is quite substantial, but I don’t need to tell the polis that, they know fine well it is and who is doing the washing and who’s money it is, all alledgedly of course.

Terry Butcher had the brains to listen to what his wife had the strength to say. Not confident that will apply currently.

Wee S still driving you mental and keeping you young?

    McGinn is for ever?

I was discussing his situation earlier today with another CQNer,and we reckoned that he just wants to play for Celtic,he reckons he’s good enough, and if he lasts 12-15 years can make about £20m at today’s rates.

That’s more than enough for a happy retirement showing the grandkids the medals.

But we both decided we should wait to get him for free, square him up with the lost interim wages. Just to p… off Petrie.

Aye bud got the wee mhan tonight again but he is easy peasy to watch.

I can see Gerrard changing before my very eyes and not is a good way, he seems to spout whatever is whispered in his ear.

    Good night all

Well, the money’s coming from somewhere, and your theory is as likely as any I can come up with.

I’m still at the head-scratching stage.

You see, laundering only works if there’s a return. Not necessarily a profit, just good clean money.

    That mob just burn it.

    Seriously,mate-I’m perplexed.

PS-couldn’t believe your post yesterday about more bad news, mate. Break a match. Break the cycle. Keep yer chin up and give TBO a wee hug and smile from me.

  6. Is it possible to stupid and be a good football manager?

I don’t think the likes of Jock Stein or Brian Clough were university educated, however they were very clever men, incredibly astute.

    That zombie manager is dense.

Aberdeen’s crap performance today was affected by an arduous 120 minutes on Thursday and this probably offset their man advantage to some extent. After Stevie G’s classy and dignified post match comments today He might find a much more fired up Aberdeen the next time they meet.

  8. Should have read – Is it possible to be stupid and be a good football manager.

  9. Bobby…I totally hear ye but in this instance, I reckon we need him now and he would enhance the team

how cool was Danny McGrain yy?

  10. I’m hearing that scoddish fans appeared to pass items forward to Irish soccer player Niall McTim today.

Authorities are trying to ascertain whether or not the Irishman had asked for the items to be forwarded to him………investigations are on-going.

I didn’t see yesterday’s occasion, but I spent a few hours today with yesterday’s mascot and his extended family.

He thinks Danny is a real cool dude! For sure,he had a day to remember yesterday.

A few years ago,I asked Danny to sign the inside flap of my iPhone. I reckoned I would lose a piece of paper, but not my phone.

The backlight faded his signature, what a plamf.

The trouble for the young Mikey Johnson is that when he gets his cameo appearances from the bench, the team has dropped down a few gears. I’ve seen it with Paddy and Griff over the past year or so, they come on and try to make an impact but the team has slowed down. Johnston clearly has talent but needs games and experience, a loan would be the best option for him.

Or give him a few starts ? Agree with your post mate

  16. Follow Follow hilarious tonight. Absolutely incredible to see how hard done by they are and how much our CEO seems to be pulling everyone’s strings in scotland.

Oh,aye. Of course there is. The UK and its offshore interests are experts. But the idea is to get a return, and it’s difficult to get one from a business like Sevco.

But that money,it’s coming from somewhere, and chances are that you are right.

  20. Glen D- Just seen Hibs goals on SSN, great entertaining football , same as last season, Lenny will relish the Hunny G games

  21. JG- if those pitches are allowed, they must be the best available, and clearly Hamilton’s pitch is shi#@ , same as their hospitality, don’t touch it Bhoys

  22. Glen D – Hibs and Hearts could be above the Sheep, abysmal again v Sevco with McInnes in charge.Lenny doing a great job at Hibs.HH

  24. Gerrard was a huge risk for them. Today was cast iron evidence it will fail, perhaps even more spectacularly than St Pedro of Caixhina.

Imagine being worked from the back by Traynor, spewing out junk that is so transparently disingenious, not to mention stupid !!

For a few weeks I did wonder if he had the nerve and firm convictions to do well. Would he buck the recent trend at the joke factory and embed a more professional, accountable ethos?

Well today we got the answer.

Sure, he has a bit of an aura given his playing career, and yes, he may be able to organise a team better than previous seasons. But already, after the first game of the season, there are obvious grounds to question his integrity.

His post match comments were outrageous, amateurish and easily refutable, but most importantly they were not the words of a man genuinely speaking his own truth. And if he believes this a statement / mind games or an attempt to create a siege mentality then he is on page one of a outdated textbook, while experienced managers like BR, Lenny, McInnes, and Clarke are marching to the beat of their own drum and re-writing the established conventions in Scottish football.

There is no way this guy can deliver what their entitled supporters demand. A novice surrounded by malevont, self sabotaging influences.

    Fun times ahead.

Wouldn’t be surprised if McInness replaced Stevie G sooner or later. Stevie Clarke could also slap the huns into place this season.

I think the stickies dodged a bullet with MacInnes. At least Gerard is an unknown quantity.

MacInnes is a well proven (shoite) manager in the big games that matter.
