Is it possible, professional athletes though they are, that the human beings who take the field representing Celtic this season are affected by the intense desire of the support to win the Ten?
Is The Ten why I am somewhat apathetic re tonight`s game but worried, already about Aberdeen on Sunday?
Someone said something earlier about it being great to be a Tim. Not right now it isn`t !!
“Greg Taylor is number one in that category but Neil Lennon is challenging strongly”
Always thought Lenny was a defensive midfielder. In any event he is definitely not fit. :-))
Not the only one apparently !

Combination of both if true.”
I have to disagree. Presumably, the Manager is doing what he believes to be right for Celtic.
Players allowing their dislike of him/his tactics/his selections to lessen their efforts surely cannot be considered to be doing likewise?

On previous thread there was a lot of talk regarding Julien.
He was injured for Hibs game so wasn’t included in the pool.
The next 2 games Sarajevo and St Johnstone, he was fit enough to sit on the bench.
Strange that !!

Tonight is a distraction from the real goal this season.
Manager’s team will be interesting though after Saturday’s embarrassment.

Right, time for me to warm up prior to the KO of Scotland`s favourite team by drinking a toast to her Majesty, saluting my framed picture of Winston and putting on an Amy MacDonald CD.
Cheerio for now.
PS None of the above is true :-)

Now that the International series is at last finished for the present at least with Celtic players – all 8 of them by reckoning – back from galavanting to the four corners of Europe, Neil at last has his squad back for almost a full week’s training. He can get back on the horse and put last Saturday’s debacle to bed. Despite missing Bitton, Elhamed and Eddie it’s great to at least have Ryan Christie back.
Christie has this ability to make these bursts through the middle which Stu Armstrong used give us – the type of play badly missed on Saturday. Neil has to go with a back four against teams like Milan with Frimps, Duffy, Ajer, Laxalt. Although I was impressed with young Welsh – this lad has a great future as indeed hasTurnbull. Interesting to see will it be Griff and Ajeti up front.
Hoops had a shocking day at the office on Saturday but then some of the EPL big hitters have also suffered heavy defeats this season. It often happens in sport that a bad performance can be followed by a very good performance and visa versa. We can all remember Copenhagen and Celtic going into the game on a high after topping the group in Europa and getting a great result in Denmark only to be shocked at Celtic Park.
Looking forward to the match although European football without that great Celtic Park atmosphere definitely not the same. Put ’em under pressure Celtic.
