We create very few chances. Thats why we don’t put teams to bed. Keeper in Milan had no saves to make. We were hanging on against St Johnstone and tonight our long ball up to Vigil looked like the only way we’d score. Having said that we should’ve scored when Lustig missed an easy tap in near the end!
I wish we’d played the youngsters.
Positives are more game time for Pukki, Biton and Boerichter and we don’t need to go to Hampden until April/May.
I think the truth is that we are not as good as we think, or are led to believe, we are.

Disgraceful.I said on an earlier blog that the money we spent on Balde and Pukki could have gone towards a REAL striker.The amount of balls that were floating about the Morton box,did anyone see Pukki anywhere near them.Balde on the bench.You go for the cheap option,this is what you get.28 corners,nothing.
This performance has been coming.Pass,pass,pass,until we pass ourselves out.Meanwhile teams like this regroup.Scunnered.Dont care who disagrees,Pukki is not a natural striker.

I read today he was in court again which he could have done in June, an unnecessary distraction. Someone must take the blame for this shambles and the common denominator in all these failures is our wonderful manager.

When you don’t have a natural goalscorer, a penalty box striker, you are always liable to a night like tonight.

There will be a lot of lesser spotted posters and newly registered names appearing tonight. It is predictable and it has started already. We won’t hear from them again until we lose or draw again.

If any of our players need a defeat by a lower league team to get stirred to play Barca they shouldn’t be playing football
If there was no possibility of Morton winning what would be the point? Football players tend not to be supporters, they don’t get why it’s important to win every game, players do need a massive boot up the ‘Harris but we should be big enough to acknowledge that we have no right to win all before us just for turning up. Tonight’s result also wees in the soup of the Armagedonnists’.

It’s all about Celtic.
In the old days cup games drew the biggest crowds. It seemed that the support realised their value and the fact that if we lost we were out. Often they made the difference. Like away at Love St vs St Mirren when we won 3-2 in extra time playing with 10 men. Now it seems to be turn up for the Final but up until then the expectation is that the Club will cruise through.
Of ten or so Celtic folk I asked today only 2 could be bothered to go and support their team tonight. It’s these guys who have a real right to be annoyed tonight.
I accept some folk have valid reasons for not attending. But whinging glory hunters who cant be bothered to go along are a tad hypocritical
