    Pretty much the game I expected.

     

     

    We faced 12 men behind the ball almost all the time.

     

    Sinclair could have had a leg break last week. Today it was KT’s turn. We don’t a repeat of the John Kennedy assault yet it seems to happen every week. With nothing said.

     

     

    Wee Jamesie continued his renaissance under BR and shone brighter than the rest by some margin.

    Played well within ourselves. I noticed pitch breaking up when Sinclair was travking back to cover a Well player at a corner.

    the closing of the Moray house campus at Cramond would also have been part of the process in building those new facilities as I know of two courses anyway the university needs them for.

     

    if I remember correctly professional teams would oftem use the cramond facilities and certainly international athletes but public only got the pool on a sat morning.

    5 More wins , clinches 6 in a row. However that assumes aberdeen win all their games to end of season to max on 88 points.

     

     

    My bet looking at the fixtures we will win the league on saint josephs day at dens park.

     

    we need Aberdeen to drop 3 points before march 12th to allow us to win the league versus 2nd rangers. not likely given their fixtures.

    I think Hearts use HWU, Hibs have their own training centre which I think Celtic paid for considering all the signings we made from them. Generous to a fault are Celtic.

    That’s me in from a straightforward win at Celtic Park. Why didn’t we score a couple more?

     

     

    Was that “tackle” on Tierney a straight red? I sit on the other side of the park and so couldn’t be sure.

     

     

    By the way, have to say I am thoroughly enjoying the benefits of the ole slow cooker. It is great to come and not have to start cooking, especially at this time of the year.

    this season, he makes me eat my words.

     

    4 irish supporters behind me gave him a torrid time today, and i was thinking, but he is playing well.

     

     

    the goal was excellent.

     

     

    the pitch was definately a factor in our finishing in 2nd half.

    There was trouble at Brigton post match not sure what had happened but lots of hi viz on view. I’m surprised though because a scroll on Twitter shows an inordinate amount of polis harassing the GB outside Parkhead after the game.

     

     

    Superb Celtic and wee Jamesie especially.

    There is a twitter link doing the rounds on Hunmedia about the Bridgton incident

     

    They are saying that the Green Brigade ( ??) tried to Storm (??) a pub but were beaten back by some old age pensioners {seriously) and then rescued by the Polis as group of young flute band guys came to sort them out

     

     

    Now you might want to take that with a pinch of salt

    Just in from the game, a fair bit of slack passing from us today. I hope complacency isn’t slipping in to our game. Anyhoos, 3 points and job done. Great to meet CQNrs “corner”. Don’t want to mention names in case I miss someone. Just one, oldtim.

    missed most of the 1st half including both goals….so couldn’t possibly comment….although if I was a Scottish (cough) sports journalist….i’d be full of…………..(insert word here)

     

     

    Disjointed second half…..don’t think we got out of 1st gear…..great performances from Forrest and, except for a few moments of slackness, from Bitton. An absolutely shocking assault on Tierney….if that was his standing leg….it’d have been a career ender…..ref as usual….I’ll say SFA.

     

     

    Made a few chances playing within ourselves…..27 clear, 31 unbeaten domestically…..mind the CHASM ;-))

    Oh, I see Lincoln have beaten Barton’s Burnley in the FA Cup. Good on them.

    I’ve always been one for staying in the present, no matter what, BUT, I am concerned that BR and his success will bring suitors to offer him silly money, hard to resist. OK, he doesnt need the money or for that matter, the hassle, but we must do all we can to tie hime down to a long term contract, soonest.

     

    I know he’s a Celtic mhan, but I do worry a tad.

    Thanks for posting. I am im sectiom 108 but my impression it was like the one O’Halloran of Ckuster**ck FCgot sent off v Motherwell recently vut thst is, if anyrhinf, worse. A straight red for sure- reckless and dangerous. But then as so often when Celtic are obviously going to win the refs pretty much stop applying the rules. To be fair to Motherwell though they were nowhere near as physical as I expected – just hoplessly outclassed.

    No idea what was going on before the game at the turnstiles the Safe standing Bhoys and Ghirls use

     

    2 large police vans sitting about 15ft from turnstiles, with numerous police on horses, and on foot searching all the fans etc – looking for someone ???

     

    Unbelievable Police action for a game of football

     

    Also on way round to my turnstile, the police were searching every adult Motherwell fans passing through their coral to the turnstiles

     

     

    Why and what is going on ???

     

     

    Apart from the that, thought we lost momentum and concentration in 2nd half

    When were ball boys first used?

     

     

    Either generally or much more specifically at Celtic Park.

     

     

    I first when to a match in 63/64….They were around then.

     

     

    I was surprised by the question….I assumed there had always been ball boys lol

    The GB leave from the social club on London Rd, the opposite end from Brigton. It certainly isn’t them and it’s certainly not the first time the monkeys have claimed this.

    You were right. Should have been a straight red. I would go as far to ask if Celtic could demand retrospective action. That “tackle” could have finished KT’s season, and possibly his career. High and very very dangerous. Disgraceful that our team is subjected to such reckless behaviour every game in Scotland.

    Things have got so bad recently that the GB have had to start their own fundraising for members arrested and charged under the Act. Previously any supporters, of any club, who came to FAC were given legal representation that was paid for by us. Sadly, that’s no longer possible because of the number of cases in recent years.

    I am sure you are 100% correct, I think any young celtic fan is ” a green brigade member” in their view and also the bit about attacking the pub being repelled by pensioners before the police came to protect them ( the green brigade/celtic fans) seems a bit like Fake News if you ask me.
