I was impressed with Ajer`s speed on the many occasions he strode forwards from defence. being so tall, he doesn`t look quick but `well players failed to keep up with him. Some teams commit players forward in an attempt to disrupt our passing game at the back. Ajer`s surging runs leaves them exposed further up the field. and causes uncertainty. I would like to see him get more starts in the SPFL.

I noticed the same thing. It made a welcome change from our back line passing it among themselves then offload it to Broonie.

Stephen Robinson: probably a better manager than McInnes, though enjoys a “robust” style of football.
I wonder if he’s been considered. Watching Aberdeen against us, and now twice against the Horribles, it does rather look like McInnes’ star is on the wane.
