  1. Mind the time when we took Tommy Burns from Kilmarnock we were roundly condemned in the press

Fergus McCann was demonised and Celtic received an unprecedented record fine from the SFA.

  2. This whole situation is one that the other clubs need to take action on. It hasn’t negatively affected Celtic as our nearest challengers Aberdeen fell further behind but it has affected Aberdeen, St. Johnstone, Motherwell and Hibs and they now see what could happen to them in the future if similar circumstances prevailed.

It wasn’t so long ago that Sevco tried to get Scott Allan from Hibs for next to nothing with a similar strategy until Celtic stepped in to save Hibs bacon. If these clubs let this go then I fear the Scottish game is finished and we might be playing our football elsewhere.

  3. It appears that the demise of rangers on rangers quick news appear to be greatly exaggerated.

Some team of questionable origin now appear 2nd in the SPL. It walks like rangers talks like rangers plays like rangers cheats like rangers and have huns bending backwards all over Scotland as if they were rangers. FFS! it IS Rangers but then again I always was a heretic and blasphemer.

  4. Aye maybe a ‘transfer window’ for managers too. Not a bad idea. Sack a manager, you’ve got to wait til the window comes round or employ an unemployed one. Could work.

  5. Why all these comments about the Huns Sevco, they irellivent to us,Think Celtic ,Watch Celtic ,the rest don’t interest me,

  6. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Since they recognise that they won’t catch us, the Good of the Game Brigade are concentrating in securing second place for the club who MUST have European football.

To achieve this, they first of all have to have the refs on board, as it is not enough just to have Them’s games run accordingly.

They have to take out extra insurance by clearing a path for them by applying Rule Honest Mistakes in games involving any pretenders to a Euro spot.

Absolutely spot on, can’t remember the names of the 2 brothers that

were in control of Killie at the time they kicked up a stink and the msm

were only to happy to provide a platform.

They, along with Aberdeen and the rest are our opponents. We dont play ourselves. Most comments are about some dodgy results lately. Those results affect US.

  11. It would not surprise me in the least that Milne sacks McInnes now, no compensation due to him as he will be appointed as the Sevco manager, Milne helps out the masons in need and no money changes hands, keeps everything sweet and he can build and sell houses in Edinburgh and the Central belt, who kept Hearts in the black?

It’s Sevco and they play in a crumbling stadium and they sing songs from the land of make believe.

They are a dead duck walking.

    Yo-ho-ho.

    Put it this wye,……

Who’s stadium falls half empty when the huns urny aboot ?

What board of directors saw fit to agree to a price ticketing structure of, £49 for games vs Sevco / Rainjurs ?

    But worse,…..much worse…….

What set of fans agreed to pay £49 for the above tickets, and, by doing so, rubber stamped, authenticated the same club lie ?

    Big Packie, I’ll give ye a clue…..

It was the same fans who held street parties, dishing oot mhan hugs and wearing, how handsome are we t-shirts, after they had crowd funded a boo hooing, poor wee me, back ae the bus, wee are the victims of the cheats “statement” that got printed in an obscure anti Celtic newspaper that gets read by two guys and a dug.

As Fergus labelled them “customers”…..he wiz right!

Mr Apathy is already muscling his wye onto the stage….20,000 empty seats yisterday ???

The question is, how many stolen trophies have been stripped ?

Will any stolen trophies be stripped, ever ?

Or, did that ship sail when awe the jelly n ice cream gluttons bought a lie for £49 ?

    Hmmmm.

as well as most of the other football teams in Scotland. The only difference is that the huns business continuity plan is in motion…..still….

  15. In 94 Tommy Burns resigned as the Kilmarnock manager and the following day accepted the Celtic job. Jim Fleeting Kilmarnock chairman kicked up a stink accusing Celtic of tapping Tommy. Fergus refused to pay Kilmarnock any compensation however Celtic were hammered by the SFA with a record fine.

  18. It has been another great week. Winning the cup last Sunday was superb; getting the goal in the final minutes on Wednesday to maintain our unbeaten run was fantastic and made a draw feel like a win; scoring 5 against them yesterday with such a rousing performance was brilliant.

However, the first thing I thought of when I woke this morning was actually our manager’s after-match comments yesterday – defending the players and staff, the club and the supporters. The content and tone of what he said was outstanding; and the timing of his comments was impeccable. This, for me, rounded off a great week in a memorable way.

I know that, however Celtic are winning all the trophies despite the Masonic corruption.

  20. Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru is delighted to see his Belgian Jupiler League side Anderlecht return to winning way after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Lokeren on Saturday.

Anderlecht had lost 1-0 to Uche Agbo’s Standard Liege in the Belgian Cup clash last Wednesday.

The 21-year-old who scored the match winner for his side on Saturday took to Twitter to celebrate his eighth league goal of the season.

“Back to winning ways. Another goal. God is great,” Onyekuru wrote via his official Twitter handle.

The Nigeria international is Anderlecht’s top scorer in the Belgian first division league with eight gold in 17 league games. Onyekuru is also tied with Mechelen’s Boureima Bande on the top scorer’s chart.

Onyekuru is expected to feature for Anderlecht in their final UEFA Champions League group game against Celtic at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on Tuesday.

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be put at risk even in a hundred battles.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

  23. “What we have been treated to since last summer is the rather unedifying sight of Sevco being sexed up for public consumption. However, it would be unfair to be too harsh on the management at Pacific Quay as the fudge was originally manufactured on the 6th floor of Hampden last June.

Even when asked by the Beeb’s man Chris McLaughlin last July, Stewart Regan would not clear up the status of Sevco Scotland Limited apropos Rangers (1872).

To pacify the supporter base of a club that was liquidated, the football authorities allowed a phoenix operation to take its place without due diligence being carried out into this new company and their business plan.”

We’ll need to be at our best on Tuesday, The Lechters seem to have pulled themselves together since we were there and we’ve seen so many Euro nights where a stunned Celtic park looked on as teams ran up the pitch and scored against the run of play to silence the crowd.

Nervous already but expect us to go through to the Euro League..

  25. STARRY

Outwith Munich and PSG regardless of their form Anderlecht will be the best side to visit

  27. Now, would it not be just funny if Wee Robinson rocked up at Ipox as the new manager?

They would be pig sick. As for the question of how is this caravan being financed? Follow the money .

  28. Enjoyed the game yesterday and some very good performances from some of our younger guys in particular. Impressed with Ajer, and his composure, and his decision making on carrying the ball through the midfield, committing ‘Well players and creating space for ours. Has the makings of a good option at Centre Back. Edouard too impressed me with his strength, and control. Potentially, he’s a better player than big Moussa, in my opinion ( worthless as a Dons managers contract ). It was particularly telling that the young guy wnet and embraced the boss on the touchline just after his third goal, and receiving the congratulations of team-mates.

Enjoyment only slightly spoiled by missing the first 10 minutes because of a RTA on the northbound carriageway about 2 miles north of Keir roundabout at Dunblane. Congratulations to Police Scotland who due to complete incompetence, mismanaged the traffic at the roundabout, allowing northbound traffic to divert through Dunblane, causing huge tailbacks for southbound traffic who were unable to enter the roundabout, having to give way to all those going north, but exiting for Dunblane. Epic mismanagement. Total incompetence, and an absolute shambles. It took us ( and many others ) 90 minutes to travel 2 miles. All it would have taken was one Polis to act as a human traffic light at the roundabout. Embarrassing.

    Sorry. Rant over.
