It might be an appropriate time to mention that there is going to be significant changes to the blog early in the New Year to make the comments section easier to use and more enjoyable.
It will be much harder place for trolls to operate on and all those who have been annoyed by the pop up ads etc will be pleased.

I remember that game well. Before the days of undersoil heating Celtic used bales of straw to protect the pitch from frost……….which didn’t work too well!-)) The ground was so frozen it wouldn’t take a stud.
