I don’t think that JC has the authority over Rd to tame the clique ?
Or, put another way….I dont think that RD has got the cojones that JC has ?
Or, maybe RD and, JC had their cojones removed before being allowed to take their places on the Celtic Park chain of command ?
Maybe that very reason is why…a Celtic-Tiger like Roy Keane ran like a wild horse to get away from CP when, offered the managers job ?

It’s The Apprentice Final tonight.
Imagine Lord Sugar calling RONNY, John Collins and Kennedy into the Boardroom to analyse their task – managing Celtic this season.
Sugar says the team that makes the most money wins and the losing teams gets called into the boardroom and one of the contenders is then fired.
So how did these three end up in the boardroom?
Wasting money on poor signings? Cole, Ciftci?
Failure in the European task – this lot provided the biggest cock up in that task since that bloke bought big blocks of cooking cheese from Makro and tried to sell it to the French.
Good team leaders? Good team spirit? Senior players like Commons, Mulgrew and Stokes all having embarrassing moments – Charlie’s quite unforgivable.
So when he looks at all this would Lord Sugar keep them in the process or would one or more be fired?
Maybe he’d look at their CVs and ask how they had got into the process in the first place? There is nothing on those three CVs at all to say these candidates are qualified to be in the process.
Seeing it as it is and talking bluntly Sugar would tell them that he wouldn’t invest his £250k in these lightweights.
The Celtic boardroom – who selected the candidates – have much more money at stake. Should be an interesting day in the Boardroom.

Good Morning Bhoys it is a nice morning here in Central Scotland.Well I dont feel any better after yesterdays defeat but it is only our second league defeat of the season and our first at home.I dont suppose we are ever likely to go through a full season without a defeat.I dont expect Celtic to change the manager at this stage of the season but Ronny needs to get the side back on track sooner rather than later. 2 things I wondered about yesterday. Why take off Forrest, who seemed to be the only threat, if not playing particularly well? Can he not last the 90 minutes? I was also bemused by the watering of the pitch even at half-time. In the part nearest to the east end of the North Stand, there were furrows full of water from the start of the match (a bit like Fir Park used to be).

After a display of utter ineptness – have the players decided to ‘take a leaf out of’ the Chelsea book and ‘down tools’ until Ronny goes?
Look, eighteen months down the line and it is obvious that no appreciable progress is being made – let’s stop digging.
New year = New management team
Now I know that this is all ifs and buts but the reality of the situation is this-
If Aberdeen hadn’t had a bottle crash in October they would be well clear,
Imagine the reaction to yesterdays result if that had been the case.
That is all that is keeping Deila in a job.
Not sure what to make of yesterday, so some fairly random thoughts.
Motherwell varied their tactics: at times attacking, at others sitting in and breaking with pace, This seemed to confuse us.
We lack drive and leadership when our captain is missing. Lustig isn’t on top form and the armband doesn’t seem to be helping his game.
James Forrest is a right winger. He plays too often as a left sided inside forward, to use an old fashioned term., with little effect. Kris Commons is wasted in a wider role. He needs to be central to influence the play.
Do we do any shooting practice? No one seemed able to keep the ball down.
I found the final period of the game when we were lumping long balls up towards a clearly unfit Carlton Cole horrendous to watch. One dimensional and desperate.
So what next? I’ve been behind Ronny all the way but am beginning to waver. If I was in charge I’d now need convincing that he’s the man for next season before the transfer window opens. Who stays and who goes, Who comes in and to play in what role. We need to progress and we need to do it quickly.

If John Kennedy is our defensive coach, he’s not very good at it. If John Collins is an assistant manager he’s not very good at it. If Ronny Delia is Manager he is responsible for them. He didn’t chose them! He needs to grow balls and get his own help. For me it’s now too late. Back to basics for me Moyes/Larson/Hartson/Sutton/Lennon and any combination thereto
I like Ronny he seems like a nice guy and he talks a good game but his after match comments are stale and dont seem to reflect the game that I have just watched.He needs very quickly to get back to basics and get the team doing the simple things like passing the ball.I dont want to see anyone being sacked but I sense more and more of the Celtic support are losing faith in the manager. Peter Lawwell – time for a taxi. Appreciate that PL has done some good for Celtic, the place is looking well, however he has been here too many years and made too many mistakes.

Agree on Lawwell has to go too. The mismanagement from him is grotesque. He was 100% responsible for this Norwegian project and backed the puppet to the hilt at the recent AGM.
Lawwell has systematically dismantled Celtic. Taking £1M / annum out whilst failing in CL qualification ( resultant £50M turnover ) sums up Lawwells greed.
Ronny is just in the wrong movie. He should be managing a Hibs and learning….although I suspect he wouldn’t do as well as Stubbs. Lawwell wanted to avoid Keane having direct access to Dermot and succeeded by appointing Ronny. Appointing a Celtic manager to suit his own interests will hopefully see the tactical beancounter fired. Dermot does not take kindly to people abusing his trust.
There is complete apathy in the support and substantial change is required. Lawwell and Ronny must be the start of the clean out. It has to much deeper including player recruitment and indeed players. It will take a couple of years to turn it round with the right leaders in charge. Staying with the incumbents will see the downsizing continue unabated whilst Lawwell continues to extract his £1M / annum completely independent of the football mess he presides over.
Lawwell leaving will be an even better day than Jock Brown leaving the building.

Wouldn’t read to much into yesterday’s result. I picked Celtic in LMS also had them against Inverness in Cemi final last time.Getting put out from your own team.
Gave up reading back, how could I, a mere mortal,compete with the multi dollar CEO’S and Champions League managers who frequent this site. Winning Captains may put up a prize if you can out “The Special One’s ” .nom de plume. (Old time betting name).
There is a footballl club, CEO and web sites that I detest so I stay away from them so I suggest if you feel that way about this site and its main item better to start your own blog instead of having a go at Paul67 who gave us this blog and has raised money for lots of deserving causes Paul called his site “Celtic Quick News”Idea for new
site could be “NEGAtive Celtic News” maybe Neganon And sidneytim could thrash some ideas about.
Unlike some supporters I was priveledged ? enough to watch Celtic in two Scottish cup final replays, Clyde and Dunfermline so after that any victory is a bonus. Ronny has won two trophies and is still involved in three this season, let ALL Celtic supporters get behind him and get the Holy Grail of a Treble in Scotland and overcome the MIB.
