He has had more game time than his performances merit and more than Sinclair. Just don’t get.

I must admit that when you compare the minutes played, it suggests something is/was going on behind the scenes regarding SS.

Was happy to see him back and he looked delighted with his goal.

If Lennon doesn’t fancy him in the long-term, I hope he can see the season out, contribute towards 9IAR and leave with a decent body of work at Celtic Park…

  3. Enjoyed that. Frimpong was such a joy to watch. The youthful enthusiasm and exuberance in his play was refreshing. Thistle were diabolical it must be said. Tom Rogic slow to get going but got a bit better, still a long way to go but its a start. Bayo is a handful and a half. Delighted for Sinclair, he deserved that. Oli played with slippers on, such a talent on his day.

    MotM – Ntcham

  4. Seeing that Sinclair has indeed bulked himself up physically and put on a few pounds, anyone else think that is what Lenny wanted him to do and why he hasnt been in the squad?

We was very lightweight before and frustratingly got pushed off the ball far too easily in the last two seasons so hopefully he can push on from here

Hadn’t thought of that but I would love that to be true . An even better SS would be like a new signing!

Rumours of a rift between SS and Lenny could just have been the kind of rubbish which tends to fill a vacuum when people get guessing .

  6. Dont believe the guff of a rift.Looked very pally when Lenny put Sinky on.Problems are all Sinkys fault.Shocking loss of confidence.A shadow of his 1st season.I luv the guy,but he has to do more attacking.Lets hope.Again,Bayo was superb.Links up great, terrific play for 2 goals, great headed goal.A menace.Needs more games,or part of games.Lenny has to rotate more.We have too many class acts.

    Telling you,another “Invincible season”is on.Entertainment,terrific.

Indeed, people see someone is not playing and immediately put it down to a falling out between the manager and player.

I never believed there ever was a ‘rift’ between the two and, to be honest, if i was Lenny, hitting the gym is the first thing i would have told him to do as well.

    It worked wonders for Dembele

His eye for a goal means Sinclair could turn out to be our ‘fourth striker’ this season

  8. Just caught up with the most disgusting comments from Boris about Jo Cox. Context is everything you disgraceful bastard.

    Next up.

    He quoted someone else.

    Northern Ireland is British.

    But the cattle are Irish.

  9. gg

thanks for the links. some great football and on brilliant goals.

ps all the goals were good.

  10. Frimpong a tremendous debut, despite what Turkeybhoy says, Sinclair was offered a new contract, so we could sell him, never happened, treated shamefully since.

  11. I couldn’t attend tonight’s game due to visiting family in Embra but it was so good to see those goals. Looks like our second half performance was excellent. Ollie N’tcham is a class act. Unbelievable player when his mind’s on the game. Great to see Bayo playing 90 minutes and getting his goal as well as a superb assist for Tom Rogic. Great to see TR scoring again as well. I think we have a tremendous pool of players at the club just now. I wish I had seen Young Frimpong’s debut. I have high hopes for this young lad. Well done Neil Lennon!

Let’s keep taking one game at a time but I firmly believe that we must not underestimate the importance of the League Cup this season:

    1. It will be Neil’s first trophy with his team.

    2. It will be the first part of a possible (quadruple) treble and will ease pressure on Celtic while heaping it on Sevco and Gerrard.

    3. It will demoralise Sevco. After all the pre season of bravado about what they were going to do to us, winning the League Cup – the first available trophy will demonstrate that nothing has changed. We are still the top team.

We will have laid down a marker/ made a statement. Choose any cliche you want but the message will be clear. Celtic are here to stay. We are going nowhere.

It’s great to be a Celtic supporter at the moment.

  12. TOSB

Looking forward to Celtic playing in Gdansk in the Europa Cup Final. Hope it is better than our night in Seville against Mourinho’s diving cheatin Porto scumbags. 👍😉

  13. Good morning, friends, from a damp but bright looking East Kilbride.

Blatant bias inbthe BBC radio scotland sports reporting this morning.

Understandably, no quotes from Lennon or Maccoll – nothing to discuss.

From the other games- all managers’ comments were either played or quoted- EXCEPT Gary Holt.

The manager who was the victim of the most controversial moment among all the games. The incident was not even mentioned.

    Sinister censorship at play here.

I need a calm down down pill – they make me sick!

  17. Welcome to this world Bhady Aiden Joseph

    Huge congrats to the parents

    And

    The Grandparents 👍

Jobo is it Granda or Papa ?? There is the new big question 😂

  18. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the game last night, however, thanks to G Guy, I did see the goals.

A great win, and for young Jeremie Frimpong, to be man of the match, in his first-ever professional game, is impressive.

Looks like we have unearthed another excellent player……………

Who said we have a rubbish scouting system
