Anybody that has ever played football at a decent level, would tell you, that the current team are very poor.
As ive said before….its not difficult to win a crap league, although RD might buck that trend.
We should be horsing it easy, no question.
That alone should set the alarm bells ringing….however, when you throw in our recent horrific failure in the CL, and the humiliation of the EL….it is scary.

That tackle on Rogic must be a bad one then, as the first incident involving Ciftci is a very clear example of excessive force being used in the tackle, with the danger of injuring an opponent, which should have resulted in a penalty, and even a red card for serious foul play. The referee had a clear view of the incident, which all came from the defender’s poor first touch, which led to the panic and the resultant reckless challenge. I assume the referee knows the rules of the game, so……..

It’s easy to win a poor league, is it really? A couple of issues with this is, how do you gauge that the current league is poor? And surely if it’s a poor league then one or two other half decent teams would find it easier to beat the rest and stay in contention? Making the league seem closer and other teams appear closer to us than they really are.

My complaint about yesterday’s officials was same as most week – inconsistent with bias against celtic
The 2 footed tackle on nadir in their box didn’t even draw a foul never mind the red card and penalty is was due. Other 2 footed tackles went unpunished. Several instances of time wasting by throwing or kicking the ball away – not punished.
Keiron pulled back at least twice but unlike nirs first yellow no punishment .
As usual I was moaning about lack of bookings and saying first would be a celtic player. When the first yellow happened in front of me I gave the baldy Bassa it loud and tight . I then predicted a 2nd yellow would be soon after. After the next foul by nir I thought ronny should take him off as the thistle players and staff and support were crying out for it then . When the next ” foul ” occurred I knew the ref would take the opportunity to red card bitton
Thistle then really fancied their chances of a win and made 2 substitutions to try to get the victory and suddenly space opened up for us. Combined with the anger at the refs decisions it spurred us onto victory .
I do think our players look nervous at the back and scared to hold onto the ball or be creative in midfield. At home our support is as negative as I have witnessed …… booed off at half time at 0-0 …. I think that’s shocking from fans who claim to be Faithfull through and through
On celtic official website ronny posted a video wishing everyone a happy new year – many couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a go at him …
BTW – i too amuch very unhappy with our board and leadership and as stated before – 2016 will be a watershed for me and many more .

In 2 games against St. Johnstone this season, one home, one away, we have an aggregate score of 6-1.
Sevco have only played them once, at home, and in order to match our aggregate lead, they would have to beat St Johnstone 7-0 in Perth, if they were, say, drawn against them in the SC.
Might suggest we’re a fair bit ahead, though narrow range of evidence, but something at least.
