nothing to do with segregation, the normal que system failed, the police and the stewards did not stop the flow of people into the area, too many people arrived all at the one time, about 10 minutes before kick off, there was talk of turnstyle failures, and peope still coming from both sides while others were doubling back, the police on horses made it worse, with one lassie officer losing control of the horse,
some people climbed the cemetery wall, i walked to my corner at the main stand, and the police getting called to the incident were sauntering up, not a care in the world.

Was great to be back in Paradise with the knowledge that Hurry Bros has boarded up and put a metal shutter on the shambles of a transfer window.
The Sevco diminished hordes with their ingrained hyperbole bring out the best in us. Their best signing is their thug goalkeeper and they offer little from middle to front no matter the hype.
Well played Celtic, some big performances and I’ll take a 1-0 doing all day long.

Chief Superintendent Brian McInulty of Police Scotland said: “Five people were treated by first aiders when fans were attempting to get into the stadium in the lead up to kick-off at Janefield St.
“Four people were treated at the scene and then went into the ground, and the other was taken to hospital after a fall from the wall bordering Janefield St.
“This was a dynamic situation, occurring 10 minutes before the match started.
“Officers and stewards reacted quickly upon realising there was an issue and put in place measures to relieve the congestion.
“This included putting in place cordons to prevent further entry at Janefield St and opening up London Road to allow fans to access the stadium from the south.
“We work closely with Celtic Football Club to ensure the safety of all fans attending matches. We plan and practise various scenarios to ensure that if an incident occurs it will be dealt with as quickly as possible, as happened in this case.
“We will review today’s incident and work with Celtic to ensure any learning is quickly put in place.”
Celtic confirmed via their Supporter Liaison Officer, John Taylor, that they are looking into the incident.

Sevco under Warburton in 16/17 had 8 points after 4 games.
Sevco under Caixinha last season had 7 points after 4 games.
This season the rookie has amassed 5 points after 4 games.

Just in from the game, that was one happy carload back to Dundee ;-)
Big shout out for Dedryck Boyata, excellent once again, and marshalled things really well towards the end when both Ajer and Tierney looked knackered, especially Ajer. If I were the sponsor choosing man of the match it would have been Dedryck (probably last Thursday night as well).
A beautiful Sunday indeed. And to hear Stevie G’s self-pitying garbage on the radio gives me great hope for more of the same.
So we have PL, DD and BR meeting tonight at the AGM for the Illuminati (Masonic sub-group) NWO report back on progress on Project Stevie G.

So James where is the promised critique of our chief executive? You know the one who threatens our stability and risks our club crumbling!
Perhaps you have decided that getting in our biggest ever fee, breaking our transfer record and having a loan of a £13m centre half isn’t actually too bad?
You will note in your critique undoubtedly that he recruited O’Neil, Lennon, even Deila and my goodness bough Moussa.
I would suggest the Lawwell Desmond axis is the most important relationship at the club and managers can and will come and go.
I look forward to your verbal demolition of the stability we have
they were the days. Around about this time the wooden cover would be put on the pool table to allow the troops to stand on it as a young RC hit the juke box…
I’ll tell you what though, I genuinely love that so many of our fans, on a day like today, were absolutely consumed by the desire to ask their fellow supporters how they were feeling, as if we would somehow be sick that things had gone so well.
Speaks volumes for their priorities, and mindset.

Well that was close.
When they pushed forward in the last 10-35 minutes the game could have gone either way. The first half was only marginally less tight than the second as the game swung from end-to-end.
I’d a clear view of the McGregor incident, it’s easy to think Greegsy kicked Ajer in the ribs ? But if you look closely Ajer moves slightly towards the game’s class act and is as much to blame as anyone. That probably includes Hartley last week.
Looked like the refs have a ban on red-carding any Rangers players at least until the SFA stop rescinding their decisions.
What we need now is for the MIB’s to remember “Rangers penalties” (copyright Gus MacPherson) ? That’s 3 games now without so much as a spot kick.
Plenty of empty seats around me in the North stand. Not only did Celtic’s refusal to award the visiting fans a reasonable chunk of tickets spoil the atmosphere but it means we’ll have lost a few quid too.

Jf – Correct.
I called 999 – as did my mate as it happens although
By that point we’d been split up
Told them they needed to get bodies down to
Both ends of that passage immediately or it was going
To be really bad. Pretty shortly afterwards – probably coincidentally, I’m not taking any credit for anything – they did turn up.
Saw at least one guy getting treatment on the ground from paramedics. Didn’t look too clever. Hopefully he’s ok.
Pleased wee Nacho got in.
i witnessed the crush on the north west corner.

Always great beating them no matter their status Gerry. They must have expected so much more today and the reality check will hurt. Good.
