I don’t blame the players. They are doing their best and If their best isn’t good enough it it isn’t their fault. The blame lies with the people who signed them and the people who play them.

True but they have an easier CL path than the one we’ve faced. Not saying they’re guaranteed a group stage spot but I rate their chances well above 50/50.

Completely agree but I doubt that the custodians of the club have the stomach for that fight.

On the discussion about defending corners, MoN said he wanted CHs who wanted to head the ball (sounds simple but bear with me), guys who would go and win it like Balde, Mjalby etc. Adding to that, he said opposition players knew those guys were going to be going for the ball and gave them a path to it – in otherwords they kept out their way. Without naming us specifically (but the inference was their), he said the opposite also applies, the opposition knows when CHs don’t fancy heading the ball.
Simple, eh?

Squire – I hear ya. Personally I’m taking it all in and going to use it to supercharge my enjoyment of the next league win. Indeed if we win the cup this season I reckon I’m probably going to go aff ma nut like I haven’t since 1995!
We have many issues to address, from 1st team down. That may take a little time, the new manager will have to buy quality (at our level, not sevco nor spfl but what we can afford ) he’ll need to wheel and deal in the loan market as we simply can’t afford a whole new team of quality (loans in the short term with the occasional loan from bigger league teams with too many players ) we need to address why our promising youngsters are jumping at first opportunity as well, colt teams and better coaching might help though I expect colt teams proposal to be a non runner. I agree we need to be better so refereeing won’t count but we still need to call it out if only to protect our players from the cheating and the agricultural tacking that’s permitted. Much to do, we’re only guessing that work is being done in the background

When Lenny was in charge I was always amazed how little input JK had during the game – now I know – he’s a clone with team selection, tactics ? and substitutions.

Or maybe JK has been doing the team selection, tactics and substitutions throughout all this this season and that’s why nothing has changed once Lenny left.

I don’t see Ajer at an elite club for now but I think there’ll be a lot of mid-ranking English or German sides that would take him.

Plenty of comments about bent refs etc; however, we are not good enough to take our chances and finish opposition off. That is a major problem in addition to our clownish defensive “tactics”.
See the head in the sand crew still at it in here. “Not Kennedy’s fault”, “Refs to blame”, “COVID”, “Scottish Government”. Gies peace. We have fallen as far as we could, our own making. Long way back but it’s achievable if the right team is appointed. Desmond – up to you now.

Nothing against Kennedy at all but he has a lot to learn, however you would have thought that after having watched the previous manager making crazy substitutions he might have thought more about those he made today.

79 mins before 1st sub…
(note : Sevco have FOUR subs on before our 1st)…and even then, it’s Forrest (who’s seen all of 15 mins of action)
85th min before 2nd sub…
Takes off a forward (when we need a goal to win) and brings on Rogic (JK playing not to lose?).
88th min he finally brings on a forward (but takes Edouard off) – so like for like – still only 1 forward on pitch.
Brings Soro on for Brown.
Why wait til 88th min? What can they possibly do to affect the game?
Another game with ridiculous use of subs.
If you look back throughout this season, I think you’d find that Sevco have utilised their squad sooooo much better than we gave.
They use 4/5 subs in most games, and bring them on early enough to make a difference – even if that difference is keeping those coming off fresher for the long campaign.
We seldom use as many as 2 subs before the 75/80th minute. Today we brought 2 on in the 88th minute! A tactic most used by teams wanting to hold onto what they have in the game, by wasting time, disrupting the opposition & bringing fresh legs on to defend.
Unbelievable misuse of our squad all season, imo.

Must admit that was the most disinterested derby game I’ve ever watched. Didn’t even let out my usual roar when we scored.
When we did score I think that was the first attempt on goal between the two.

We will be very , very Lucky to get between £15m to £20m for Eddie.

Formal complaint should be made against Collum,he has favoured huns all Season whether we were involved or not.
Ajer is 22 and has already played 250 first team games, including 38 games in Europe. Good young pro, stays injury free, and can adapt to different positions. He perfectly fits the profile of what a lot of decent standard clubs are looking for these days.
Its a low bar but he’s probably been our best player this season, there’s a lot of potential for development there.
