We have 4 players who want to be central attacking midfielders and who are good at it- DT RC Rogic and Calmac but we don’t have too many willing to play right and left
James and Mikey can play as wingers in a 4:2:3:1 but are not so comfortable in a narrower diamond
Moi can make a fist of left in a diamond- so can Calmac but it’s not their preferred role- we can afford to lose 2 of these 4 – so bye bye Christie and Rogic
we had the chance today to restore a bit of pride but all we got was same old same old , powder puff up front and can’t defend set pieces.

West brit Bonner reckons Eddie is a diver, prick.
Problem with our midfield and OE at centre forward is its always ball to feet, no running off the ball into channels behind the defence, when we did that we scored ,on other occasions we caused problems , we need to do tis or we are trying to score from 20 yards and every team knows it.
the defence is a complete shambles a guy at 6feet 5 can win a header, two full backs who want to run up to 30 yrds from goal stop and pass it back, midfield square to the passer, fear football .

we did it loads of times to win games,
last minute goals and all that, we are famous for it.
Some of the fouls given against Celtic today Barasic dive , Morelos dive just to mention 2 blatant ones were truely unbelievable and can only be explained by the cheat with the whistle.The non penalty was also a sending off.
This man is supposed to have a conscience, it beggars belief what he thinks when he examines it.
Personal opinion
We should be trying to keep Kris Ajer
Build team around him as our captain
Yes, he needs polishing as our CH, buy a dominant Centre Half to play beside him
Incidentally young Stephen Welsh is also very good, but I keep reading his favoured position is right back ??
I do think he is a tab small to be our dominant CH
We’ll get big BIG money for Eddie – we need to ensure we have someone who knows how to spend it.

This season is not Packy Bonner’s fault. He is a nice guy who gives his opinion professionally. Not a hanging offence
Are we waiting to secure second before any news on the managerial front, surely it’s not Keane?
Not sure if it’s good or bad that many today won’t be with us next season. We need a better starter than Bain, 3 out of today’s back 4 will probably be gone, I’d punt Christie in a heart beat, Rogic I’d keep he’s be great for half an hour cameos. Moi, Eddy will be gone. We’ll have Julien and Forrest back, Mikey Johnstone I’d get out on loan (plays for himself often flatters to deceive (for now)). Who knows what’ll happen with Griff, Ajeti, Ntcham. Lots of work to do, shouldn’t we start it as soon as?
Neither of Laxalt or Kenny should be at Celtic park next year, not what we need.
Plus Mjällby and Valgaeren. Power that we don’t have today…..unfortunately.
I think Laxalt has it – the appreciation of a packed Celtic Park may have helped him, naw?
