    Nice touch from CalMac calming down the celebrations a little. He can probably remember Slippy’s fist pump coming back to bite him on the backside.

     

     

    While I’m loving these new signings, I think having someone who has seen it and done it before will be crucial.

     

     

    I don’t want anyone to say he’s not captain material again. Not everyone should be judged through the prism of Broonie who was pretty unique.

    Hopefully The Trailer Park Kid got out of JJ’s pocket and found his way home safely after the game.

     

     

    The sight of them falling to their knees has Abada made in three was beautiful. Just beautiful.

    Geebee – two other moments last night from calmac that haven’t been picked up on. Sakala was having a go at 16 year old Ben doak. Cal was straight over to tell sakala to gtf. The other one was first half after yet another occasion that Barasic gave the ball away. Cal appeared to run past him giving him pelters and looking really pumped up in the process. Never really seen him bamming up opponents like that before.

     

     

    Most of all the very fact that he was on the park playing when he could easily have said no speaks absolute volumes about his character.

    absolutely magnificent display in the first 45 mins to be only 3 up at the interval , took the foot of the pedal in the second half , understandably , good game management but still some nervous moments in the second , a excellent all round team performance .

    AND to think that there were Hun fans SLAGGING OFF Celtic for signing Bhoys from Japan in the last couple of months….

     

    I wonder what they think now… Haud oan…..NAW I DON’T….cos ” We dont care what the Animals say” !

     

    Our Bhoys from Japan have MORE than ” Eastern Promise” going for them.

    CALMAC MUST have really got into Barasics heid…as he was woeful throughout and now wonder he was subbed at half time.

     

    It was ONLY 1-0 to Celtic at the time, and i noticed it while watching the game LIVE, but obviously I had NO IDEA what CALMAC shouted at the Dopey Hun Bastard, til I watched the LINK above.

    Great goals last night, Abadas finish was sublime as was Hatates 2nd.

     

     

    As previously mentioned it’s a team effort and the whole coaching staff should take a bow for helping the boss implement his style and workrate.

     

     

    This period is probably the most excited I have been about the potential of a Celtic team. 45 years since my first trip to paradise.

    I think we saw some of Scott Brown’s influence on Calmac last night.

     

    He’s starting to look like a Celtic captain.

     

    Too many halfs and a bad hip don’t make for a pleasant morning.

    Gene – in his post match interview, GVB said there was no excuse to stop play, that you defend the corner and play to the whistle. Only the likes of McCann and Boyd spinning that excuse last night. The ref would have had no idea it was a head collision and the play was stopped about 5 seconds after it. I’ve looked over on FF and even there they are saying they would be raging if they had a goal chopped off for that.

    AP has changed just about everything for the better.

     

    Hope the club realise that the old game has gone for good — PL no more.

     

    Time to plan for the summer like we planned for January.

     

     

    AP and his all action style has delivered a growth agenda.

     

    If you deliver good football they will come.

     

    What is the season ticket waiting list?

     

     

    JJ and GG tell us everything — that that have give / those that haven’t try.

     

    JJ = huge talent / not sure even he knows how big — brilliant footballer who happens to play RB.

     

    GG = effective player who gave his all and haunted them for 60 minutes — huge performance.

     

    The goals will come but he is so much more than that.

     

     

    OE played in slippers / he plays in pit boots.

     

    And the TFOD2.1 defence knew that from the off.

     

    We missed him when he went off.

    Great stuff last night

     

     

    Hun manager has made the mistake of opening up their formation , getting away from previous tight formation. Not quite akin to Mowbray after WGS but getting there …. Their 2 wingers were spare parts and their midfield was more open pushing up because the full backs weren’t pushing up …. it left their back 4 exposed and they played as if they didn’t belief in what was going in front of them

     

     

    Had a gut feeling that Van B would move away from the brutal tight midfield, swinging high balls in from the full backs …. He is not the long term answer for them and will be gone in the summer ….
