  1. Goodnight folks. The good times are back.

    The turnaround has been incredible.

Big Ange is the man. Not only a good football guy but a good human being.

    Love it. Enjoy it.

    We go again Sunday.

This is how it feels to be Celtic…

  2. What is the Starz on

Apparently the last time a team calling itself Glasgow Rangers conceded 3 goals in back to back league games was 1986..

    Must be another world record..

Like …Giovanni Van Bronkhurst still unbeaten as Rangers manager and last year’s favourite..Mighty Gers still to concede a goal

    24 hrs straight awake

NO Im not a Zombie ;0)

  4. Ange has a hard job hiding a smile at the first question. 😊. Then he gathers himself for his usual serious countenance. He has created an enormous team spirit with a disparate group of international players, some of whom can hardly communicate with each other for obvious reasons.

    Hat doffed.

Can we just take a moment to reflect on Reo Hatate.

    Wow. What a player.

    HH

Always the sign of a good player,Reo Hatate in both goals, especially the 2nd,makes it look as tho he can’t be rushed, nothing pressurizes him.kind of pausing time.he had a fantastic contribution for the game,1st half particularly,

    HH

  7. Not long home from the game.

I would just like to say that , the first half tonight was incredible.

I must admit that i was not totally convinced with Ange.

But tonight has won me over.

    That was immense. HH

  8. On a JOYFUL NIGHT….On CQN…The Tic went wild @Reo ‘s goal””

  9. Not been on the comments at all recently but I want to say I love each and every one of you beautiful b*st*rds.

Tonight, for 45mins because that’s all it needed, we showed exactly what we are capable of.

    Regular starters out.

    Debutants galore.

Please just imagine this group of players in a month’s time, never mind a year.

    I’m so hard right now.

  10. Martim1980,

I noticed the bench too. Great to see a squad united.

We really are something special at the moment and I don’t think GVB has any idea how to deal with us.

Get 3 points against Motherwell and put the pressure on them again.

    We don’t stop…

  11. Goodnight and God bless my fellow Tim’s.

Where JHB this evening? Still belting out the rebs in Grace’s perhaps.

  12. Brilliant, quite brilliant with a number of outstanding performances, all identified.

I don’t know who is responsible for the football first signing policy but they deserve credit.

  13. AT,

One of my favourite comments about a footballer is Arsene Wenger saying that the best quality Thierry Henry had was finding time in the box.

It’s a special skill to have.

  14. Good on you St Tams. I’m sure most of us would have had doubts at some point but he has fairly crushed them tonight.

What a man and what a team.

The players must love playing under him. It’s the sort of football you loved playing as a kid.

  15. I could go through everyone of the team and most of the subs tonight saying, “I thought X had a great game tonight” but I’m delighted McCarthy had a great game when he came on too.

He must have dreamed about beating them all his life – just like the rest of us

  16. We should have Rogic, Biton, Maeda available on Sunday to swell the Ange options. Bit worried about the Abada injury. Hope it’s something he can shake off.

Unfortunately, I think Haaland is injured.

He’s training. Said he’ll be back for the games vs them

  18. Fantastic

Great for all of us around the world

Hands up, I posted Ange was not the man for the job especially after the first few games.

Wat a boost he has been for us in these dreadful covid days and the disgusting cheats.

Tbh tho, I did get on to sportsound in 1997 and said that that guy was the wrong guy.

    Rip the great Wim Jansen.

    Er, apologies to all

    Enjoy tmw

  19. Inquitousiv

Essentially said that Maddun called in right in not stopping play for first goal. Correctly pointing out that the ref couldn’t have known it was a head injury and that there was such a short period of time between the collision and the ball hitting the back of the net. Huns manufacturing a grievance when there is none. I can remember a similar debate when Mark Wilson scored in the 1:0 so called he of shame when the Huns were suggesting that play should have been stopped when their defender cleared a shot from the line with his napper only to be dazed in the process.

  20. The trouble with midweek games is that it fills you full of adrenaline making sleep a distant prospect but you still have to get up early and be fully functional by 9am.
