    I’m glad your post wasn’t directed to me. However, telling people to be “less sniffy and altruistic” is not arguing the point, hence my mention of ad-hominems

     

     

    I’m well aware that we all express our opinions on here, so long as we observe Paul67’s house rules. No one suggested anything different.

     

     

    Celtoc do need to make as much moneyy as they can and use it as efficiently as possible.

     

     

    You talked about not caring whether it was a betting company or not so long as it helped Celtic get a better standard of player or hold o to players for longer, then that was the bottom line for you.

     

     

    However, everyone has a limit.

     

     

    14 or 15 years ago you wouldnt have accepted Celtic using a properly administered EBT scheme would you? They were considered to be tax avoidance as opposed to tax evasion (think i got that the right way round).

     

     

    My.opinion is that Celtic shouldn’t be advertising gambling companies on the strip.

    We want a Ceo who’s number one priority is to have players on the park to enable us to get to CL

     

    Not a Ceo who keeps cash in bank while our team are embarrassed in Europe mainly by teams with no cash in the bank

    I just finished watching the game, and there were more than a few positives.

     

    The month ends with ICT at home and Hamacad away.

     

    I don’t think anyone would bet on us dropping points in either game.

     

    The towel chuckers will have a quiet March.

    Macjay, the wee horror was Vladimir Weirs. A player they had on loan from Man City. A horrible wee nyaff. Another player who seems to have fallen for the we ur ra peepul / no surrender attitude.

     

     

    He was pictured at a game he was suspended from, wearing a no surrender scarf.

     

     

    As an aside he is the reason Man City are one of the creditors of the defunct club. They were never paid the 300 grand loan fee for Weiss

    Add that with a Center half who had played about 5 games in last 2 years ( boyata). Then add a manger hired by Peter Lawell who had virtually no Europe experience

     

    Add that with poor signings from Lawell park and our squad was no match for Molde. Never mind Malmo

    Had a busy day today with various things so haven’t read back, read any match reports or listened to any reports…all I can say is thank f*** . 3 points all that matters

    We were 2-0 up after 10 mins then 3-1 with a minute to go against Malmo and blew it that was not down to Peter Lawell.

    3 points in the bag….would take that any day of the week, especially with the form we’ve been in recently.

     

    A deserved 3 points? Yes

     

    Did Ross County offer anything to really bother us when we’re playing 11 v 11? No.

     

    We have better players than RCfc have, of that there is no doubt.

     

     

    2 things are really noticeable though.

     

    1. The ghuys playing in that 1st team squad appear to be playing with a with a lack of confidence

     

    2.The manager & coaches provide no flexibility with the formation we start & end with. This is the same, both home & away.

     

    There’s no variety to our play. We’re too easy to read just now & there isn’t a player wearing the hoops that either can or is told to do something that is out of the ordinary, that can change a game at the drop of a hat. No number 10 that is told to play like a number 10.

     

    We play football by the numbers & if you continue to do that, if you provide no variety to your play, sooner or later you’ll be found out. Motherwell at home earlier this season was a case in point.

     

     

    As a Celtic supporter, season ticket holder, away day attender, I’ll back the team from start to finish….faithful through & through.

     

    However, I still worry that we are too predictable in our play & I have a major problem that with this squad, there’s just not enough heart & fight to carry us through when the chips are down.

     

    We’re in a dogfight to win the league just now & the challenge is welcomed.

     

     

    Having watched & read about what rangers (& the SFA) did to us in the past, what sevco & the SFA & SPFL have been trying to do to us since, for me, my burning ambition as a Celtic supporter, is to do the “10”.

     

    That will scar them all forever.

     

    For me, we do the “10”, that will be a start.

     

    We achieve that, then we move onto the next target.

     

    We will be despised & hated for doing that.

     

    That’s what I want……Why?

     

    Because we will have done it the right way. No cheating. No underhand favours provided in achieving it.

     

    I hope & pray that we hit “5”, because if I’m honest I don’t think that the club/board/management will be allowed to be as lax as we’ve been this year, as we stride towards the “10”.

     

    I know I’m not alone.

     

    There are thousands of ghuys/ghirls just like me wishing for the same.

     

     

    Let’s not forget the problems we’ve caused ourselves this season. Let’s recognise them, learn from them & move on.

     

    We have the best squad of players in Scotland of that there is no doubt. What we need is for that squad to play with a style & confidence that suits them all. It’s not about 1 system. It’s not about major alterations either. It’s about the opposition being unsure what we’re going to do at the start of a game & what changes we make during it. We need to keep the opposition guessing during the course of a game. That’s what we don’t do just now, which is why we toil in games. Today was no different.

     

    In Ronnie & the coaching staff we trust???…..I just don’t know.

     

    Can they, the coaching staff & the players step up to the plate & get us to this title?…..I genuinely think so.

     

    But it’s going to take balls. It’s going to take guts. We’re going to have to fight for this title.

     

    I doubt that there’s one person on this site that doesn’t want the “10

     

    To get to the “10” we need to win the 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 & 9. It’s one step at a time.

     

    I believe we can do this.

     

    As one, we should all be backing each other. The players, the coaching staff, the management, the supporters.

     

    I want EVERY other supporter of every other club in Scotland to hate us……to hate us because we’re the most successful club in Scotland. And that we’ve earned that accolade through not cheating, with no underhand favours provided.

     

    We are all Celtic……..let’s do this….together

    I Don’t feel sorry for Stubbs.i watched the game at Livingston. Just stands there no motivation, arms folded no not for me as a future coach at Celtic as for Stokes didn’t do much,young Henderson no more going out on loan for him.to good a player,

    Macjay, it would be good if that was the reason we have a good relationship with man City. More than likely it’s because Peter Lawwell’s son works for them. The deid club also owe Chelsea 200 grand appearance money for a pre season friendly at Ibrox.
