Bourne, Jock and Celtic were , in my mind, the most perfect combination ever in Scottish football.
However , the horrible El – Hadj Diouf and the now defunct club were made for each other but in a completely different way from Jock and Celtic.
Jock and Celtic were famous , Diouf and the horribles mark 1, were infamous.
Oh and none of those players listed played today. Sack all the scouts

As opposed to some other blogs I visit, on CQN there seems to be a high correlation between the Happy Clappers and the Holy Willies….or is it just me? Of course some could be interpreted as Holy clappers and Happy Willies. Depends on your stance as a Celtic supporter I suppose. :)

Your passion for our team is even greater now than when you were a regular at our games before moving away.
Ronny is the subject of some of our ire but it should be aimed at the power makers and breakers in the boardroom.
They have performed well in some things but as I posted earlier , they appear not to appreciate what happens on the pitch is our main business.
The distinction for me is best illustrated by bIg Jock`s negative reaction when Bertie Auld sat on the ball during one game.

Compare that with the triumphalism displayed at Ibrox when their wee guy ,whose name I thankfully forget,mimicked Sammi`s penalty miss……..even to the pushing back the hair out of his eyes.

Gerry, a very apt description of the odious Diouf.
His own team mates at Anfield were not his biggest fans.
His behaviour at the alleged shame game should have received appropriate punishment but he literally got off scot-free.
Bougherra putting his studs down Gary Hooper’s achilles , in that game , should have been a straight red. It was almost as bad an assault as when Craig Moore went right through Henrik about ten years before. Which sent Henrik up about six feet in the air. You won’t be surprised to hear, we got a shy for that assault.

Celtoc do need to make as much moneyy as they can and use it as efficiently as possible.
You talked about not caring whether it was a betting company or not so long as it helped Celtic get a better standard of player or hold o to players for longer, then that was the bottom line for you.
However, everyone has a limit.
14 or 15 years ago you wouldnt have accepted Celtic using a properly administered EBT scheme would you? They were considered to be tax avoidance as opposed to tax evasion (think i got that the right way round).
My.opinion is that Celtic shouldn’t be advertising gambling companies on the strip.

The only booing I heard today was aimed at the referee. Ross County were lucky to keep 11 men on the park today, Clancy gave us no protection.
IMO the much criticised Lustig and Boyata played well. I was slightly disappointed with Svaitchenko, thought he made a few wrong calls and SA never got into the game apart for his cross for Boyata’s goal.

Most of the fans aint happy, i would say 80% plus want Ronny gone by next season. I like Ronny and have tried and continue to support him, but the reality is that he is a goner sooner rather than later. People can talk in the press, on the radio and on the blogs but when the fans that turn up week in week out have turned on you thats when the Board take action.
