Anyway…..the same, present accountants / charlatans who sat in the directors box and, looked the other way as their hun-pals hoovered-up 3 years CL-money-pots on the back of ‘honest-mistakes’ and…worse, they took the gate money from Celtic supporters all the while….knowing the game was rigged!!!!

Poor scouting indeed. We have 9 scouts employed, 6 operating across Europe, and I’d love to know who is responsible for a good number of the poor players we have seen brought in.
The guy who recommended VVD has moved on , but not aware who replaced him, if indeed he was replaced. Peter Houston was also travelling Europe extensively before he left us to take up the role at Falkirk, and again, I’m not sure who if anyone replaced him.
You would hope someone is appraising the success or otherwise of these recommendations but given how often we buy poor quality you have to wonder.
The remit of the scouts we employ is to find players who can be sold on at a profit, and under that strategy it’s going to be extremely difficult for Ronny or indeed any manager to get the continuity needed to regularly compete at the highest level.
The only hope would be to develop a few more like K. Tierney but that would be a slow drip feed of perhaps one player breaking through per season, and breaking into an ever changing team.
Under these conditions, even if we get it bang on by finding 2 or 3 VVD types and supplementing them with one or two Tierney breakthrough’s which gets us into CL proper, you can bet your bottom dollar that the side will be broken up by selling the biggest assets and the whole cycle starts again.
Very frustrating for manager and supporters alike, but the board seem to believe this is the only way to balance the books.
If we could only keep our better players and see CL football for two or three successive seasons, you could argue the additional revenue would allow us to attract better players who might just deliver us CL football on a regular basis.
PL clearly favours the method of caution, but the longer he favours it, the poorer quality we will see on the park, and CL football will become a memory, in my opinion.

Please read the Annual/Interim accounts – every penny that comes in goes out again on Celtic expenses.
You can’t spend what you don’t have – surely that message must have got through.
Shirt sponsors Magners and now Dafabet – Kit manufacturers Nike and now New Balance plus the whole commercial set up at Celtic is down to Peter Lawwell – even with no salary and only 15% commission he would be doubling his ‘take home’
Match day revenue is only around 45% of our total turnover – where do you think the rest comes from and who is responsible for doing the deals?
Kevjungle – I was upset at the turnout on Saturday and the turgid performance on the field.
There is no getting away from it, an increasing number of fans are echoing what Rod Stewart and some old Bhoys say, namely that Ronny is out of his depth.
Like Macjay, I do not apportion blame for the appointment, however blame, can and, will be forthcoming, if we don’t start performing and the manager is left in place as the title slips away.
I don’t believe Aberdeen will collapse – if they win tonight and on Friday night – we then move into ‘must win’ games – our record in these kind of games is abysmal under Ronny.
I am behind Ronny and the team at present – no choice – I won’t stay away like so many did on Saturday – we will need all the support we can muster.
We have a squad and a wage bill that should be comforable in this league – the problem is squarely in the football department.

We have cash in bank to 7m. Legally posted. We did not qualify for Europe due to lack of investment in first eleven players
We took in 12.5 million from VVD we spent 6.1 million. None of those players are first team regulars
That is the nut of our problem
Eg. Sold first team only goal scorer for 5.5m in hooper
Replaced with puuki a failure at Schalke
And derk from Ajax. Record of sickbed
And balde nuff said
We sell top players and replace them with numerous projects. Very few make 1st Eleven. Failed policy that is costing our club millions
All still moaning, the faults at CFC: the team, individual players, the coaching staff, Pl, DD, 4 2 3 1, need a supporter on the board, ban the SMSM, the scouting staff,? Celtic supporters? Right now are the worst I’v known, no back bone what so ever, boo a team that wins 2-0 never been known in any sport that I know? It’s embarrassing Sitting at Celtic Park these days, a support being led by the SMSM and the C T.
The day the C T get a supporter on the board, will be the DEATH KNEEL for CFC, that I can guarantee you.
