“But there’s not many jobs bigger than Celtic and there’s not many jobs under the scrutiny, analysis and opinion of a job like Celtic.”
After his side took possession of the league trophy, Lennon addressed the crowd at Celtic Park, thanked them for their support, and predicted good times ahead.
“It’s another memorable day in the history of the club,” he told fans. “To celebrate the 125th anniversary of unique history, unbroken history, is something very special.
“As a club, we’re united, from the board down to the playing staff, to the academy, and hopefully you can see the club’s going in the right direction and hopefully there’ll be many more days like this to come.”
Like you, I’ll put Neil Francis Lennon’s hat in the ring for the Celtic job.

“Wieghorst would be a great move.”
I liked him as a player .
Very elegant and composed and he chipped in with his fair share of goals.
He lacked a bit of pace and bite in the tackle.
But he was a good player for us.
But please tell me what he has done to be deemed as a good replacement for Lenny?
A Lenny who is not leaving anyway.

fgf,
St Johns Doyle was on last night telling us he heard from a close friend of Lenny a move was on, that tied up with the recent report that his son is now becoming aware of the hatred for his dad is not healthy
Coyle is not for me. I wouldn’t let him in the ground never mind manage the club. He was asked and said no. Fine. He then sneakily used the approach for his own selfish ends and to the detriment of Celtic.
The club now need to pay Neil what he is worth. There is a special team in the making and he will want to see it through BUT over say a three year period the difference in salary will be many millions. After the disaster that was BTM, we got a winning captain as manager and how many millions has he earned for Celtic with his run in Europe and his great signings? Pay the going rate Celtic and keep Neil at the club.
Coyle has been nowhere near a big club at any stage in his career. Never a Celtic manager. Cringe at the thought of it.
Today was excellent – really enjoyed the team and thought Tony Stokes is developing his game, less selfish, more creative and deserves a wee mention.
Willie Wallace book sales have been great so far – if you haven’t ordered yet, please do so to get one of the signed ones – or more accurately the ones we are going to bring over to Willie when he arrives in Glasgow on 24 May to sign!
While I admit today was wonderful,it left me wistfully thinking of how it must feel to lift that coveted 4th tier trophy,we can but aspire to such lofty heights, loved NL’s remark about unbroken history,up there with the dig he had regarding PLAYING juventus as opposed to renting them a training ground.
Our club should be doing more to address this situation regarding our managers safety .
The media in this backwater won’t publicise sectarian attacks against our manager and supporters so the club should .

Lenny’s family is his top priority, the same as for anyone in any job.
If he is still afraid for them, for their wellbeing and peace of mind as well as, God help us, their safety, we have to find a solution for him. Why could he not commute from somewhere safer that appeals to his family? Edinburgh, Dublin, London, Paris. Why not? Let him and his family live wherever they feel most at ease and most able to enjoy life together. Then, when it’s time to work, Lenny hops on a plane and a club driver meets him.
