    Had a good 90 minutes in the Kerrydale Bar pre-game. My mate’s 2 grand-daughters just loved it and had their pictures taken with Lisbon Lion Steve Chalmers.

     

     

    Met great CQNer Bundoran Bhoy out in the elements with his bucket, collecting for the Celtic Foundation. He was soaked to the skin and chilled to the bone but nary a word of complaint. What a guy.

     

     

    Enjoyed the game. I don’t mind us missing chances when we win 4-1. Stokes was excellent and as usual, Brown and Johansen ran the show. Can’t think of any failures. Looking good for a trophy-hunting second half of the season.

    Everton will be kept apart from Liverpool and Spurs in the Europa League draw as clubs from the same country can`t be drawn apart at this stage. They`ll also be kept apart from Wolfsburg who they were drawn against in the group stages.

     

     

    Only serves to increase our chances of being drawn against them……

    Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Regan is being considered for the Football Association’s general secretary role, the BBC has learned.

     

     

    Alex Horne will leave the post on 30 January after four years in the job.

     

     

    The position was advertised last weekend and Englishman Regan, 50, is under consideration.

     

     

    Regan joined the SFA in July 2010 after four years working in a similar position with Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

     

     

    He succeeded Gordon Smith, who ended his three-year spell in the role for personal reasons.

     

     

    At the time, Regan said he aimed to “achieve the obvious common goal of improving the overall standard of the number one sport in this country”.

     

     

    Then SFA president George Peat, who appointed Regan, said at the time: “Stewart’s got a business background and that’s what we’re looking for. The SFA has a £30m turnover – it’s a business we’re running here.”

    The EL draw looks very tough for us at this stage of our “journey”. I would suggest that Feyenoord, Fiorentina or Bruges offer us the best chance of progress.

    Regan isn’t the problem. The fact that he allows other people to run the SFA-the job he was hired to do,and is very well paid for-is the problem.

     

     

    The SFA is a sick shambles,and needs reform top to bottom.

     

     

    Regan will be glad to see the back of it all.

     

     

    I doubt he’ll be missed.

    It’s closer to the results I expect at cleric park..but second half we only played in spells. Why bring on Mcgraw or when James had an excellent first half. Was he injured.

    Opens at 11am whatever the kick-off. Opened 11am this morning.

     

     

    You need to be in by 12 maybe 12:30 as they generally stop letting people in when it is full.

    The crap they spouted after they were given the correct punishment when it was discovered that they didn’t know how to administer a ban of one of their players (quite important for a football club I’d say) was terrible.
