Three points and some good football in patches but St Mirren should have got more than 1 goal ( please do not quote match stats at me re shots at goal) as our defending was at times appalling.
Plusses were that the starting midfield increasingly looks right and domestically Adam Matthews is good . Both strikers were a bit cow’s bum/banjo though. Good to see Liam H back in the squad and we are now really beginning to create serious chances every game
Work in progress but we shall be underdogs come the Europa 32 . ( Suits me BTW) .

Our manager has been quoted as saying we have agreed a fee with Man City for Guidetti. This fee was inserted in the contract between Celtic And Man City when Guidetti came to us on loan to us at the start of the season.
There is a fee. Whether you believe it is 3mill or not is neither here nor there. I believe that there is only a fee because securing his services is subject to a development fee.

I like the look of both our main strikers.
The two signings excited me in the summer and several months later I don’t feel any different.
Neither are world class, both show promise and both are likely to prove successful.
If £3 million is what it takes to get John on a permanent deal I think that’s reasonable; we’ve certainly spunked two thirds of that on utter rubbish regularly enough…
Thought Anton had another solid game. Four decent enough strikers sounds a great improvement to me…

Good result to-day .should have been 7 or 8-1. I think something needs to be done regarding ball bhoys or ghirls, this afternoon our goalie had to to retrive the the ball twice/ were the cameramen pitch, he should not have to that, i have noticed for quite a while how these bhoys and ghirls are turned out, and quite frankly they are a scruffy lot. there track suits look to big or to small. its not the kids fault.its that old guy who stands at the front of the tunnel ,who is in charge of them. im afraid time is up for him. them kids would be better looked after by one of our female supporters,which im sad to say Celtic lack ,so its time thes ladies were giving a chance of running things, its not all about your bonus peter,its how we present ourselfs on the sidelines.

Ross County on Sat 27th December and Motherwell on Wed 21st January
We will have 6 away league fixtures, a wee winter break in Gran Canaria plus the Scottish and League Cup ties at Hampden and Dundee ..

Not checked back too much,but at the game I expressed the opinion that I didn’t know whether JD would stay if we got a BIG team in the draw or a WEE team,because let’s face it he is not gonna stay with us. If I were him I would stay for the 32 round and see how the cookie crumbles. He is on a win/win situ,free agent ie all the money goes to him.Good to see him kick the post saved me kicking his bahooka:-)
