Champions!

1808

Congratulations to Ronny Deila, his players and supporting cast on becoming Scottish champions, season 2014-15.  The man from Norway has got his team playing flowing, attractive, football, he has improved players throughout the squad, and should be delighted with the shape of the club at the moment.

Congratulations too to the Celtic fans, who recognised the manager and team needed their support, which has been delivered solidly throughout the campaign.

I’m delighted for Aberdeen, who have matched Celtic toe-to-toe against the rest of the league.  It has been a stunning season for a team with comparatively meagre resources.  Motherwell were best of the rest for the last two seasons, but they were miles off the pace, and never reached the consistency of Aberdeen this season.

It’s four in a row for the third time in our history, matching Willie Maley’s team’s achievement in 1908 and Jock’s in 1969.

These are great times to be a Celtic fan, enjoy being champions!

You are probably right. As it happens I was at tynecastle in the away end with a QOS supporting mate the week after our visit. There was no sign of any damage and certainly no sign of swathes of new seats.

I like what Mrs Budge has done at hearts and she could well be a breath of fresh air for Scottish football, but I was slightly surprised at the focus on our support and the silence at the behaviour of other clubs supporters both at her ground and when her fans were on their travels.

That said I don’t condone vandalism and thuggery wherever it occurs.

Interesting point on flares/smoke bombs – aforementioned mate was at QOS game at Livi yesterday and was commenting on Dumfries fans letting off flares – own fans being discomforted. Anything in msm about it today?

  12. Ronny should have got it. We all know this. The fact that mob need 2 stoop 2 these levels to annoy us shows how far ahead we are. Just keep winning Celtic. We love u.

  13. What Zefuick (Hearts sub who scored the double against The Rangers International yesterday) looks like the fat pensioner who comes on in one of the PP ads. Makes me feel like getting boots dusted off again although opposition were poor.

Championees. Proud to be a Tim.

I made it bud. Unfortunately just past the border with seven hours gone and five to go I lost 4th gear. Contiinued in third all the way home. Perils of taking a punt on eBay. Hoping it’s just a selector.

    Friday was brilliant. Getting addicted.

Need to find somewhere to park up the new to me vw Celtic bus for games. It’s currently got orange and brown stripes suggesting the huns and shite. Need new decals.

    Golf… Golf!!… don’t get me goin

Let me tell ya… I was at a party in Helensburgh one night (it was the wife’s fault), ran out of fags. The golf club was the nearest place with a fag machine.

    American readers are now wtf

Anyway, we pops into the golf club and I ask for change for the cig machine at the bar, only for a wee mental fud in checked trous and a pink tank top to tell me that I wasn’t dressed properly. WTF… I had to check myself, I looked round at the bar to see if anybody else had got the joke, but they were grim. I had to laugh… to the extent that my mate had to pull me away.

We got the change and I got my fags… I reckon most of the lost balls on that course were up that guys ass. It’s the only reasonable explanation.

  17. So yogi hughes wins manager of the year !!!!!!! ( nice guy )

pumped out the league cup in September by Sevco ( 1-0 )

Beat Thistle, St Mirren & Raith before Steven Mclean allowed them a cup final

To date ICT have won hee haw.

RD wins the league cup without conceding a goal , wins the league with three games to spare , having only conceded 17 league goals, scoring 78 . Meanwhile ICT have conceded 36 and scoring 46. Celtic have 85 points so far ICT have56 points

What the F***. I rest my case

  18. Having watched sportscene I now realise our 2nd goal was pretty ordinary. Shoite even. Cos it was only a couple of passes in the footage shown.

  23. Keeping The Faith on

Well they couldn’t give it to McCall this year no matter how much they wanted to, so they wanted to reward the guy who stopped Celtic winning the treble and as you’re not allowed to give it to MIBs Yogi gets it by default.

I don’t actually want Falkirk (or ICT) to win the cup but it would make this look even more ridiculous

  24. MOTY – Ronny without a doubt.. Manager in his rookie year with one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Changes the team, style of play, fitness and still has time for a roar,, cmon.. Seriously?
