Congratulations to Ronny Deila, his players and supporting cast on becoming Scottish champions, season 2014-15. The man from Norway has got his team playing flowing, attractive, football, he has improved players throughout the squad, and should be delighted with the shape of the club at the moment.
Congratulations too to the Celtic fans, who recognised the manager and team needed their support, which has been delivered solidly throughout the campaign.
I’m delighted for Aberdeen, who have matched Celtic toe-to-toe against the rest of the league. It has been a stunning season for a team with comparatively meagre resources. Motherwell were best of the rest for the last two seasons, but they were miles off the pace, and never reached the consistency of Aberdeen this season.
It’s four in a row for the third time in our history, matching Willie Maley’s team’s achievement in 1908 and Jock’s in 1969.
These are great times to be a Celtic fan, enjoy being champions!

John Hughes?
Odd choice. Didn’t think Ronny would be given it, but thought Neilsen was a shoe-in (or maybe McInnes).

Very good

What you doing up and about at this time on a Bank Holiday?
Race meeting?
PF
Agree with you re Yogi, but re not Neilson. Twice Ronnie went head to head with Neilson this year and the aggregate score was 7 0 to the hoops. The championship was dire.
Re McInnes. It’s a good job Ronnie also came out on top v him in the 3 meetings to date, because up until the Dons lost at the weekend, Aberdeen had taken more league points against every other side in the league than we had.
Hearing crap about Yogi having to take over, change the style, replace a ” legend”, aka Butcher. Wasn’t Ronnie in the same boat?. He also had to make his European debut whilst 5 mins into the job.
If it was boxing, and the decision made without bias,it would have been unanimous with Ronnie winning by a street length.
Oh, and this ” he has the biggest budget”, what a pile of steaming shite. That should never be used as an argument. If it was valid, McInnes would be expected to finish would he not? So effectively, he also achieved nothing.
Celtic managers need to get to the semi of the CL to be guaranteed to win this bloody award. Even then I wouldn’t bet on it!
Finish second*

Enjoy Chester and remember and bet the low drawn horses at that place, my horsey days are over, prefer to lose on the fitba at least it takes a couple of hours to lose
Manager of the Year award, it all went to rat S#/& last year, with Neil Lennon losing out, he was never going to get it. They got away with it last year and thought, hey we can do this no bother let’s just dismiss the Celtic manager.
Even the players can now openly show their dislike for Celtic, just like the refs…..!
Ayrshire is Green and White

I think Neilson did very well …a limited budget .. Very young squad …and won the league in a canter
Also think Hartley did very well ….to take a Dundee into the top six was a fine performance and way beyond expectations
As for RD….his poor European efforts did it for me ….it’s difficult to be a CFC manager in the one horse race SPL ….also difficult to measure success …Lenny won the league with a country mile last year…McInnes got the accolade ..for winning the League Cup ….whereas StJ manager won the Scottish Cup and won hee haw
I don’t get too exercised about it …load of bollox really …particularly given that the season hasn’t finished yet

@footballisfixed no way can I get into this a few days before the election guys. Sorry
There’s an article on NewsNow by a churnalist called Martin Hannan, who on the face of things sounds like he might be a Celtic minded chappie. However, on reading said article, it is yet another piece of dismal revisionist shite. Anyone else seen it?

This is all about making SFA more accountable to supporters of and shareholders in clubs, including those who watch at Ibrox, who have all suffered because of a lack of accountability and transparency in the governance of Scottish football.
Accountability and transparency are the watchwords here.
We are meeting three mainstream media today.
We are seeking an exclusive outlet.
Good Morning Timland.
Congratulations to SJ and JD on their awards, well deserved,

Aye Hartley did well with Dundee I agree.
I will be looking for better in Europe this time around, assuming that Ronnie is given replacements of a similar standard to any who depart close season. We need to improve the defensive aspect in the full back areas of our game in Europe, and need a goalscorer who can score at that level. Leigh is brilliant domestically but we need something else up front. I think with Biton and Brown, we are well equipped on the holding side of the midfield ( love Biton by the way, and Broony gets better every season), and with Stefan, I don’t think we need to much business in midfield.
The thought of losing one or both central defenders, and throwing inadequate replacements in beside Adam and Izzy though?……scary thought!!
Good morning friends from a damp but bright Cardrona (suburb of Peebles).

That’s been bubbling under for a few days now. I gather they didn’t offer it to Scottish outlets,so I’m delighted they seem to be getting a bite.
Hopefully the blue touchpaper moment we’ve all been waiting years for.
Good morning CQNers,
Well done to Stefan – a strange decision to award manager of the year to John Hughes, but congratulation Yogi nonetheless.
Some interesting links to Martin McGuiness overnight which tied in nicely with one of the books recommended by Auldheid (Great hatred little room – about the NI peace discussions) which i’ve read whilst on holiday. As in all these things, much more complicated than the simplified version presented by the media.
Thanks Auldhied.
If you’re ever Amathusa Bay way in Cyprus and looking for somewhere to watch a Celtic game then head for Molly Malone’s, the owner is the daughter of a Dublin mother and Glasgow father, and as she said ” my father wouldn’t forgive me if we didn’t show a Celtic game if requested.

It’s scarcely news that there has been / is a Hun / SFA / MSM fit up ….the problem is trying to find anyone interested enough to run with the story
New manager, who inherited someone else’s teams, and took it to within ‘cheating’ distance of a treble in his first season. …. despite all the usual ‘barriers’ …….
MOTY =. RONNY DEILA ……..end of story ….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bobby murdoch’s curled-up winklepickers,
They’ve taken it out of Scotland as its the only way to get any exposure on the corruption.
I do hope this is the start of some real momentum to bring them down.

Hope Yogi thanked Steven McClean in his acceptance speech.
Lived in England for a while back in days of yore. The cricket was very popular because it was the only place you could get a swally in the afternoons at one point. The pubs closed in the afternoons!!

Just logged on for the first time since Friday lunchtime (lots of reading to do then)…
Congratulations to Ronnie…hope he has even more next year…a double and an proper introduction to Scottish football administration….Tonev incident, honest mistakes becoming more blatant, and the lack of respect given to him by our media….He will have his eyes opened.
Hoping the club can move quickly in certain positions so that Zadok the Priest rings out over Celtic Park next season.
Enjoy the moment also hope The Rangers International FC are nowhere near us again next season and many more to come.

Re. the Cathedral View 8:28 post.
Who are the people who have been `given permission` and who were the givers of said permission?
Of course I want something to come of their efforts but something did not seem quite right in their `quest`. It was almost like one of those Nigerian scams in style of expression.
I hope I am not doing the guys a disservice . Does anyone have any more information?

About pubs closing in the afternoons,by the time I first moved to England, pubs had become civilised and open all day.
Timed it just right!
Since I had moved south at the start of January,my first Bank Holiday was Good Friday.
