NEW Bhoy Mo Elyounoussi makes his European debut for Celtic in the Europa League opener against Rennes in France tonight.

The Norwegian international striker, on loan from Southampton for the remainder of the season, made his first Hoops appearance in the 1-0 win at Hamilton on Saturday.

He did enough to show boss Neil Lennon he is worth a starting place against the French Cup winners.

Goalkeeper Fraser Forster, also on loan from the south coast outfit, plays his first European tie since he left Parkhead five years ago.

Lennon has stuck by the same line-up that started the Premiership game at Accies where James Forrest, with his seventh strike of the campaign, scored the only goal of the match.

Odsonne Edouard will again lead the line with Scott Brown and Callum McGregor in their usual midfield berths with Ryan Christie tucking in behind the Frenchman and Forrest and Elyounoussi on the flanks.

The Hoops gaffer will look to the back four of Hatem Elhamed, Christopher Jullien, Kristoffer Ajer and Boli Bolingoli to make it three consecutive shut-outs.

TEAM: Forster; Elhamed, Jullien, Ajer, Bolingoli: Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Christie, Elyounoussi; Edouard. Subs: Gordon, Bauer, Hayes, Morgan, Ntcham, Rogic, Bayo.
