Dear SFA, a joke hurt our feelings

1666

Can you imagine how a formal complaint about the comment ‘Rory Bremner can pretend to be Tony Blair’ would be composed?

‘Dear SFA, a rude man’s joke hurt our feelings.  Tell him straight, no more jokes!’

I clicked onto the NEW club’s site to confirm their reaction.  As well as complaining about a joke [it wouldn’t hurt if it wasn’t true], they complain about the Daily Record, “the paper is riddled from top to bottom with an anti-Rangers bias”, just to prove they also have a sense of humour.

They also attempted to put a stake in the ground by affirming that Pinsent Masons, now representing Scotland’s champions and sole Champions League participants, did not report to the police that Craig Whyte has any connection to the club/company.

No one has ever suggested that Pinsent Masons made such a report.  This is a bit like insisting that Ally McCoist will not manage the Champions League winners this season.  Pinsent Masons were far too busy taking instructions from their top client’s chief executive, in his non-comedic role.

What a laugh!

McClair v Johnston? No contest.Brian scored two goals every three games for us. Johnston was half that. And half the man as well.

My thoughts on that… we knew Judas was wanting away from Celtic at that time, he took a fair bit of abuse from the support for it. McClair he kept quiet and slipped out the door, I didnt really think much of him for that… he saw what Judas took and thought im not having that…

Cant blame him I suppose, but at that time I thought more of Judas for his honesty….! Although that was tested years later…!

I see your point, but I think the board made it easy for our out of contract players to move by withdrawing all offers in January that year, saying they would discuss things at the end of the season.

In my working life I have seen feckwits ,who would struggle to tie their own shoelaces, get into positions of power in companies only to demoralise and demotivate the poor bassas who have to work under them.

NONE of these companies are in business any more…..seriously!!

  20. Bigcupwinners…..you have taken my remarks about Jock Stein totally out of context.I adored the man and adore his memory.

I was using him as an example to pre-empt any whataboutery responses about Judas.

  27. BCW…..guess I was trying to say he wasn’t a big Celtic fan growing up,regardless of what shoite the MSM used to print. He didn’t really get Celtic when he played under David Hay,in my opinion.he was a genuflecting badge kisser and half the player that Chokky McClair was IMHO.

Not a question of morals as I don’t think he ever had many of them anyway.

  28. kikinthenakas,
