Well, that sums the season up. We lost a league through incompetence. On the plus side ‘they’ didn’t win it on the field and it is a small consolation that it does slightly dampen their celebrations. That and all their pubs being shut.
Analysis another time. I’m switching to ‘defiant’ mode. F$%^ them and their covid tainted, debþ fuelled, handed to them on a plate by the most incompetent celtic leadership I ever remember. I hope slippy stays. I hope they all stay because when we sort ourselves out I am going to thoroughly enjoy getting our league trophy back, after it has been thoroughly wiped down for coronavirus control purposes.

Shameful , shameful performance from a team lacking bottle , direction or any semblance of being footballers. Édouard can get himself on the fist plane to France and never darken our door again, we will be lucky to get the money we paid for him. Laxalt is not a footballer and his introduction to the team was the defining moment in our season we have went downhill in every game he has played since.

It’s been asked quite often “What does Kennedy do?”
I think today, we found out.
Scott Brown not flawless but best player before he was substituted – says it all. Celtic poor otherwise in every department including throw-ins, corners and free kicks. Anything around 20 M for Eddie is a steal. He cannot attack balls or rough up defenders yet he doesn’t have the silky skills he used to have (or was that only our collective imagination?). Everyone’s shooting was pathetic with almost every shot either off target or straight at the goalie. At least we can be assured that JK will not be the new manager and present coaching staff will be offskie too. But this is one pathetic team.
That game probably summed up the season, clueless individual play with no obvious system, first 70 minutes try to walk the ball into the net, and some shocking ‘shooting’ last 20 minutes make bizzare substitutions (second striker comes on in a game we need to win with 4 minutes to go!) And punt the ball high up the pitch, leave gaping holes in midfield and hope something happens, pathetic. Clueless and gutless on and off the pitch.

Celtic don’t make me miserable. Bowing down to the hun makes me miserable. So do the apologists for it.
But by all means keep those red herrings coming bud.
For me, its not just blowing the 10
its the total shambolic state the club is now in, from top to bottom .

All the coaches need to go and a serious look at the behind the scences medical staff who cannot get players recovered from injury, sports science is a joke as well with a team only fit enough to play 70 minutes and that has been all season, clear the whole of Lennoxtown at senior level out.
I fear Brown has some influence over JK.
Otherwise Soro would shoorly feature.
We were rubbish under Ronny, BR came in and revolutionised the club. We swept all before us. BR leaves and (within around 18 months) we are a busted flush.
We were never a well run club, we were just lucky enough to get a good manager for a period of time and enjoyed a monopoly position for many years.
We really need to re-think our whole approach. Hopefully less articles from Paul comparing us to Liverpool, blaming the government, COVID or any other inane excuses.
Real introspection is needed or else we are bound to repeat our mistakes.
p.s. for all the board acolytes. Sevco are celebrating 55 today (remember, the Celtic board agree with this line) and our board never lifted a finger or so much as put out a serious press release in respect of the decades of corruption and cheating or to fight for the stripping of their ill-gotten titles. Still, let’s all raise a glass to Peter’s outstanding management of our affairs.
If we were clever and have a plan in place for the new structure (not sure we do) then in advance of the Glasgow Derby game we should announce it, though on second thoughts if it’s another “shower” appointment then maybe not

Same digs, same complainers, same rhetoric, one bad season in ten and you cant take it. God knows how you survived the 90s.
Stand up, be supporters, or dont go back to celtic park,ask for another refund, stay home, gies peace,
Total rebuild required. Let’s see if there’s an appetite for it. Start by gutting the dressing room.

My advice just put your head down shut your ears and ignore the next few days .

Whoever our new manager is in my opinion has the bones of a decent team. Just needs to be his own man and make that clear from day 1 to the board.
I’ll still support the team as I always have, I just hope the new guy brings the support together. Fraser Forster was a massive loss to us but he can fcuk right off and stay clear of this club.
