NFL, represents the last pair of cojones that were witnessed at Celtic Park.
NFL was thrown under a bus by the Celtic FC establishment, after NFL had the cheek to prove that his team where being cheated by the MIBs, forcing the MIBs to go on strike.
Fast forward a couple of years to, after the departure of RD and his plastic Roar.
Mr Apathy, coupled with the, Celtic FC establishment’s, inaction to the, simmering under the surface, Res:12 issues, forced 30,000 Celtic season ticket holders out of their seats, and, forced the Celtic FC establishment’s recruitment of, project puppet managers, who diminished the quality of the product on the pitch which the fans are asked to buy.
Had the 30,000 and falling, amount of seats remained empty, the Celtic FC establishment would have gone into financial freefall last winter.
So, a decision had to be made.
Was it,……
1. Do the Celtic FC establishment jump onto the same page as the scunnered supporters and, give the hapless RD a £ wedge to spend on the team and, throw the kitchen sink behind the gallant efforts of, the Gallant Res:12 Rebel Band and, lead the fight for justice ?
Or,…….
2. Splash £45k a week on a manager who would, skelp a hun pub team, hoover up trophies, but, he would be conditioned not to court controversy, no matter how brutal the treatment dished out to his players, or any mibbery. But, most important of all, from a Celtic FC establishment point of view, the new manager would shift 53,000 season tickets, ensuring that there would be no financial gun held to the, Celtic FC establishment’s head’s by cheated Celtic supporters, and crucially, the lack of that fan pressure, would allow the Celtic FC establishment to remain inactive to all of the, 25 years of Murray Mibbery.
Look out for Lawwell sending another letter just before season ticket renewal time.

I am a great believer that it’s what “We” do during a game, and lets not dwell too much on the opposition, such as it is when we look at Sevco ?
However, I can only imagine that any Sevco fan MUST be facing a sleepless night tonight especially when Pedro can only rely on sheer guesswork as to which starting eleven Brendan puts out tomorrow ?
We have some serious options in midfield and attack, and any deid club moron MUST be sweating even now as I type…they can not possibly set up their “team” properly without knowing who’s starting for Celtic , and surely Pedro is facing a real dilemma, in trying to combat Celtic ?
When most Celtic fans don’t have a clue of what our line up is going to be….what chance do Pedros Paupers have of guessing Celtic’s line up….?
I have a gut feeling that there will be at least two red cards tomorrow, and I also fear for the safety of our players as IF The Celts are dishing out yet another humping…their “support” will go over the edge ?

Good morning, I hope you are well. Season ticket numbers at CP are at an historic high. Regardless of declining attendances during the RD era, and latterly during the NFL era also, the numbers in the LL time and beyond (i.e. the 60s-90s) were invariably around 30-35k. It is not clear what evidence you have to support a contention that CFC are happy to “remain at the back of the bus”, if any? Let’s see where the current hiatus brings us, and then we can all make a considered judgement. I live in hope that right will prevail, but I am not complacent. I recommend trying ‘In’ rather than ‘Oot’, it is better for the soul. The days of the Jungle (and I spent a few years in there in the late 60s and early 70s) are gone, and my memories are as rose-tinted as those of many others, however they bear no comparison with the CP of today. BTW,. I am still in the Jungle, as was, now the North Stand.

Since we all believe that we’ll win the league again this season, would there be a case for resting some players tomorrow, ahead of our trip to Belgium in midweek. ?
I honestly believe that we could rest 4 or 5 from the team that beat Dundee and still put out a team capable of handing out a huniliation tomorrow.
Not seen sevco play at all this season – i can always find something more worthwhile to do, but most seem to be of the opinion that they’re still shi-ite, especially in defence.
Not complacency, or arrogance, just reality. :-)
