Pleased to see the Club recognised for CelticLive, the stadium WiFi and content imitative by the European Club Association. Anything which builds our profile at the ECA is welcome.
Today’s Telegraph assures us Newco Rangers chief executive, Graham Wallace, is set to leave the club with his plans to raise £4m at a pending share issue still in the balance. The newspaper further asserts the club is a “toxic brand” and is trying to secure an emergency loan from Newcastle United owner, Mike Ashley.
The club, which informed the Court of Session on Friday that it had only £1.2m cash left, and last night informed the Telegraph it was losing £1m per month, requires vastly more money than the £4m they are struggling to raise in order to finish the season.
Some credit is due to the Daily Record for their splash with photo and leader, “Rangers director Sandy Easdale and a criminal wanted by Interpol tried to negotiate an Ibrox bailout yesterday”. They are reporting two years after Paul McConville’s blog initially broke the news of said Interpol-interested character, Rafat Rizvi.
Rizvi, who can take refuge in the UK as we don’t have an extradition treaty with Indonesia, is allegedly wanted for corruption, money laundering and banking crime, denies the charges, which he has already been convicted of. He should fit in quite well.
As we said at the weekend, irrespective of short-term events, the long-term fundamentals remain unchanged. The only thing to be decided is which of the characters hovering around the carcase will get to pick on the bones.
All credit to Sir David Murray.

As hilariously thick and funny in an ironic way as when the old Rangers sang; “why don’t you go home…” to us, well, at least Kenny Macaskill SNP MP thought it was all very wonderful and atmosphere generating.
And then Alex Salmond – SNP MP (ex Westminster MP ex RBS bonus recipient) rightly hammered the Celtic support with the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act for I suppose not singing it.

Will any of you no voters be attending this march on Saturday as you may have something in common , go on show your support.
====
Will our King Billy be leading the parade? Maybe we will spot our Bertie alongside him along with a estimated 50% of the population of Scotland.
Away and raffle yourself FFS the overwhelming majority of No voters detest the OO and their Ulster Scot brethren.

I completely agree. But I don’t think at this point in time consensus suits Better Together. The less answers the better.
!!bada bing!! – it’s 53% Naw, 47% Aye, after taking out the 10% who said “Whit?”(thumbsup)

Well if they made a film about Thatcher, they were bound to make one about real national treasures.

New Poll has Yes 53% – No 47%
#Handgrenade
===
I think that should maybe read percentage of those polled who stated their intended voting preference showed 53% voting yes and 47% No. Does seem a bit strange if they asked 100 people (for example) and all stated they had made up their minds to vote either way without any % remaining undecided. Curious to know the total number of those asked and the percentage of those ‘still to decide’ (if indeed there were any)
Philvis- still got that podium touch I see….
Blooter it
You are 100% correct. Shocking.
FRW- True, still undecided myself

Change of subject & pace; Ms. Mini-GB has just had her doctoral thesis passed at Edinbugh Uni.
International relations and politics. We are well chuffed for her after 10 years of tertiary effort that has taken her around the globe. Profs are recommending that she publish her work, since she has established a new field of study. Being a parent is a great thing…….sometimes :-))))

The Scottish voters are facing a potential banana skin next week.
The important question which will effect the future of the country is:
Bananas. Fyffes or Chiquita?
But which one will be to the taste of the average Scot?
When you peel back the skin you can see that what’s on offer is more of the same.
Each one provides vital nutrients and can ensure a balance diet.
But which one is the green banana?
Warning, do not eat GREEN bananas, apart from the physical shock to the constitution a green hand of bananas can contain hidden unforeseen perils.
From experience I have witnessed hairy spiders, locusts and on one occasion a snake emerge from green hands of bananas.
The snake was in a bigger panic than the women but as they scattered I had the pleasure of one or two holding on to me for protection.
A not inconsiderable pleasure for an impressionable 17 year old.
So the question which banana you choose will have long term repercussions for the population.
Is it to be
The exotic unknown sultry seductive Chiquita or
the tried and tested and familiar, if a wee boring, Fyffes?

A poll was taken in my local in Clydebank an hour ago. 29 said Yes. 3 said No.
Mind you, it is a Tim shop.

DD, the master of disguise ;))
As the debate rumbles on we constantly hear folk telling us about what they are hearing on the doorstep.
Are there others out there loke me who are wondering just when any of the above are going to turn up on my doorstep.
Nice to see the BT campaign getting the support of the oil donors. I’m sure the oil sector made a killing in Iraq, after the BT politicians made a killing too. At 1,000,000+ deaths and rising, it’s one of the very few UK growth sectors.
I realise this yes/no or no/yes(switched them about so nobody gets on to me)thingy is a BIG thingy and has been a consistent topic here for a long time now…..well…..what seems like an eternity really!
Really noticed a difference today regarding the lack of football talk and even the lack of anyone asking to talk about fitba :(
And it is gonna get worse…..omg!
IF EVER there was a need for multiple threads, then this is it.
Paul and BCW…..would it be possible to create a little box on the screen so that when it all gets toooooooo much……we can click on it to break open an EMERGENCY QUIZ and up pops inflatable/virtual Delaneys Dunkies, Hamilton Tims, Gary67, etc and they can have a bit of craic together washing away the political blues?
Pretty Please!

great news, you must be a proud man, well done to your girl
Good evening all.

A big congrats to yer lovely wee lassie. They do have to work mega hard to get these qualifications. Looking forward to hearing more about the wee genius in the future. :-))
Weefra HH praying to Wee Oscar.
Twitter is intimating that George Galloway, who was originally going to appear on Question Time tomorrow night has now been taken off as a result of complaints/request from SNP.
If this is the case, I can only think that their complaint is based on the fact that he is an MP representing an English constituency and actually lives in England. Given his robust campaigning for the No’s and his Scottush background, then as an undecided I think this is an own goal by the SNP.
Awenaw- sorted ta
Great news gerrybhoy
ole cqn books will be after your daughter soon….8))
gerrybhoy
Congratulations to your daughter.
You must be proud as Punch. However much that is.
Anyone who thinks that Cameron has got his knickers in a twist over Scottish referendum ain’t seen nuttin yet.
Wait until he has to put his money where his mouth is and gives what is left of the UK an in out referendum on Europe.

How did your bhoy get on?
Said a wee prayer at morning mass for him.

Prior to moving to Oz, I was living in the USA. This is my first vote since around 2001/2 and before that I was quite ambivalent about independence. What is so wrong or unusual about that?
