Pleased to see the Club recognised for CelticLive, the stadium WiFi and content imitative by the European Club Association. Anything which builds our profile at the ECA is welcome.
Today’s Telegraph assures us Newco Rangers chief executive, Graham Wallace, is set to leave the club with his plans to raise £4m at a pending share issue still in the balance. The newspaper further asserts the club is a “toxic brand” and is trying to secure an emergency loan from Newcastle United owner, Mike Ashley.
The club, which informed the Court of Session on Friday that it had only £1.2m cash left, and last night informed the Telegraph it was losing £1m per month, requires vastly more money than the £4m they are struggling to raise in order to finish the season.
Some credit is due to the Daily Record for their splash with photo and leader, “Rangers director Sandy Easdale and a criminal wanted by Interpol tried to negotiate an Ibrox bailout yesterday”. They are reporting two years after Paul McConville’s blog initially broke the news of said Interpol-interested character, Rafat Rizvi.
Rizvi, who can take refuge in the UK as we don’t have an extradition treaty with Indonesia, is allegedly wanted for corruption, money laundering and banking crime, denies the charges, which he has already been convicted of. He should fit in quite well.
As we said at the weekend, irrespective of short-term events, the long-term fundamentals remain unchanged. The only thing to be decided is which of the characters hovering around the carcase will get to pick on the bones.
All credit to Sir David Murray.

Late home for me…..
Never ever give voice to THAT tawdry blatt..
And as for wee davie?
It’s not over till he has been publicly outed, shamed and sircumsized for what that bumptious empty, borrowed double breasted jacket did to the beautiful game in Scotland.
There’s no end till the burial is ‘ fishal.

CQN Czech Quick News
In 1993 Czechoslovakia was broken into the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Slovakia has a population roughly similar to Scotland’s.
It’s GDP per head is roughy $25k.
Scotland’s projected GPD, per capita, is projected at around $40k.
Slovakia has none of the advantages we have
Native English speaking population, well something akin to it
Energy reserves, they rely a lot on nuclear energy for electricity production.
A well developed fishing and food production sector.
A sophisticated financial market
The remnants of a heavy shipbuilding and construction industry.
Glasgow Celtic.
Can we make a go of it? Of course we can.

It seems to be the general assumption that the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation is taking orders from the SNP.
The idea is simply ludicrous.

I would not go as far as saying it is now a fantasy of mine with all the political talk, but it is rather worrying that i am conjuring up images of inflatable cqn posters.
You should probably be grateful for the fact that we have not met!

There is a difference.
Farage in his interviews shows he knows nothing about Scotland but a comment like that from Galloway is well designed and plays to a specific gallery.

I’ve answered your question.
Blantrye, I’m institutionalised now.
I’m in the big place where all will be doing, you see.
I hope lessons have been learnt for Saturday and we can shut up the northern neds after their behaviour when we played them at Celtic Park last season.

I’m being a wee bugger. ;)
I’m fine with that. Just so long as it’s Curran/Gerrard and not Forrest.

1. True Scottish Patriots

I would have thought it would be huns, but going by the comments on here I think it might be True Scottish Patriots.

I’ll give you more –
When the Slovaks were in the union of Czechoslovakia the nation was Prague dominated and the media Prague central.
Many Czechs said they were paying for those no use Slovaks in the East who had nothing to offer except tourism and a few industries (Czechs regularly get lost in the High Tatras – running joke here).
When the separation came Slovakia was the poor relation and many Czechs said lets stop subsidizing those ungrateful idiots (to put it mildly). They will all be poor forever and we will laugh at them.
Years later Slovakia got into the EURO before the Czechs
They have a better economy (arguably)
They have had great levels of foreign investment from countries like Germany and S. Korea.
They have improved their nation greatly and made progress, not as much as they would like but they did come out of communism unlike Scotland
They would never go back.
The Czechs and the Slovaks now respect each other apart from in sport where they are rivals and cross border arrangements are better than ever.
Some people should take note

Yeah, had a read.
Seems a really strong case for No and tries hard to disguise the fact it was penned by a Cameron bum chum.
Really the FT aught to know ahead of the rest of us, you can’t run a country just on banking and finance. It’s no way to create new wealth.
Destruction of industry has lead us here, we need balls – and we need to vote yes

To all us west end tims, she’s from Jordanhill.
Radio 5 is not as good without her.
She talks us up a lot.
She should show up blue tie Mackay by being professional at her job tonight.
