Spanish football, like its economy in general, in mired in difficult financial times, which, apart from one or two well-funded clubs, has restricted the budgetary scope of a large number of teams. I had hoped all summer to hear we were on the case but it wasn’t until the final day of the window that solid opportunities materialised.
Marseille-born Tunisian international Lassad Nouioui is a complete unknown to all of us but his profile, earned at Deportivo La Coruna, fits the bill. He scored a handful of goals as Deportivo finished 18th and dropped out of La Liga in season 2010-11 but hit the heights last season as they secured promotion. It would be practically impossible for Celtic to sign a striker with the equivalent profile in English football, despite the apparent gap in standards between La Liga and the English Premier. I’m also delighted to hear Levante, who finished 6th in La Liga last season, were so keen to capture him.
There is also something I like about the port-town mentality the people of Marseille have. It’s very Glaswegian. Lassad should flourish here.
I’m not sure what Phil Mac Giolla Bhain’s reaction was when The Sun called asking for an interview about his new book, which details the mainstream media’s failure to report the demise of Rangers. “Are you joking?” may have been appropriate. I had no prior notice they were running an interview yesterday and couldn’t believe the promotion they gave to a book detailing the failure of their industry.
This was not without consequences, of course, and The Sun got themselves into an incredible mess, today trying their best to backpedal, which is pretty much what the theme of the book predicts (irony #1). Meanwhile there is a book publisher in Glasgow who cannot believe his luck. Thousands of unwitting critics and a leading newspaper have ensured Mac Giolla Bhain, who would struggle for a platform without the anger of others, has a bestseller on his hands (irony #2).

Re:-A Ceiler Gonof Rust
I know the seat allocation as regards to European Night’s
can be a pain in the you know where
I remember a few Season’s ago I along with a few other
fellow Hoops Bhoy’s & Ghirl’s where @ a meeting @ CP
PL was there and obviously the main concern @ that particular
time was being moved just about any where in the Stadium
In fact one match I was moved to beside the Away Support
what basically came out of that meeting was they would
do there best if they moved anyone was to offer them Seats
as close as where their normal seat was although they could
not promise this as a whole issue what they said was the main
reason that they had difficulty on those set Evenings was due
to the fact that they had to free up untold amount of Seats for
UEFA Delegates & European Media & Also we have to understand
that on those Evening’s the Stadium belongs to UEFA in other
words they have full control on the European Nights so it’s a
case of give and take and understanding the problem @ hand

Huns are trolls indeed
They are dismembered but still regenerate into the same stinking form
Like trolls they’ll need to be burned …. Hopefully BDO /HMRC will do it
Btw…operation keep Huns alive and in the public eye is in full swing ….Sky are complicit in this ..I get the feeling they are desperate to the OF alive ..as for ESPN..that’s just Hun tv
Dastardly huns.
Guys you must understand that UEFA take over the running of the stadium for CL games.
I know guys who work for UEFA and have told me. If they are not happy with the seating arrangements for their guys an hour before kick off …. Like its raining on them …. And more often than not they are accomodated. 15 million reasons why clubs bend over backwards.
It is not Celtics fault.

Just get on to expedia and book a deal.
Don’t worry about tickets for the match.
You will be able to purchase tickets in Lisbon for the Benfica end.
You are perfectly safe.
I am booked and not going with Thomas Cook.
Two nights in Lisbon, 5 star hotel.
12 hours in Amsterdam on the way home.
All flights Inc £170.
There are much better value ways to enjoy the trip if you ain’t fussed about being guaranteed a ticket for the Celtic end.

It would be a good suggestion to do some thorougher research on the
Net, Look up the Digs over night stay first once you have found some
good price B&B which I believe they call over there for example Portugal
a Pensionee anyway once you have found some where to stay then
check out for example Benfica Club website using Google Chrome
which will translate it into English then see if you can purchase a ticket
for the Away End from them directly
Also take into consideration that they only so I’ve heard allocate 5% of
the Stadium Capacity to the Away Support but you don’t get if you don’t
ask as on would say So if I was you I would try and obtain the match
tickets first after that some where to put my head down for a night or
two then obviously the Flight’s in and out (Good Luck)
I have traveled with Thomas Cook on a couple of occasions to say
that the facilities they provide in all honesty is very basic and the In
& Out Packages are not appealing believe me those types of trips
are what you would call ‘A Very Long Day’ like early to rise and late
getting back it’s best to go there independently for a couple of days
take in the local culture/food/and beverage and make it a pleasant
stay instead of rush-rush-rush and treated like a heard of cattle is
no fun let us know how you get on with your research?

cheers big time.
