I’m not sure what Phil Mac Giolla Bhain’s reaction was when The Sun called asking for an interview about his new book, which details the mainstream media’s failure to report the demise of Rangers. “Are you joking?” may have been appropriate. I had no prior notice they were running an interview yesterday and couldn’t believe the promotion they gave to a book detailing the failure of their industry.
This was not without consequences, of course, and The Sun got themselves into an incredible mess, today trying their best to backpedal, which is pretty much what the theme of the book predicts (irony #1). Meanwhile there is a book publisher in Glasgow who cannot believe his luck. Thousands of unwitting critics and a leading newspaper have ensured Mac Giolla Bhain, who would struggle for a platform without the anger of others, has a bestseller on his hands (irony #2).

You wouldn’t happen to know a Scottish lad called Lewis perchance? He moved out there just recently with his burd and as far as I know he’s a member of the Budapest CSC. It’s just that we’re very good mates and I am in fact heading over to Budapest in October where he assures me he’ll take me to the Budapest CSC to take in a game! it’s a funny thing the wider celtic family, can’t wait to head over!

I seem to recall a meeting between the club and supporter groups a few years back regarding fans being moved for champions league games as far as i recall the outcome was that each block between 104 and 107 would take it in turn to relinquish their seats to EUFA delegates well I sit in block 106 and the only time we had our own seats was for our first campaign in 2001/ 2002 season and we are being moved once again.Seems a tad unfair even taking into account the need to accommodate EUFA as father and sons are being separated.At first the club tried to soften the blow by offering us cup final tickets if we made it of course now they just don’t bother.
