Our back 4 were magnificent according to Lenny. Couldn’t agree more. They were pushed, harried and pressurized all night but stood firm.

Poor performance but as I said earlier, qualification was a must and we got there so pleased enough. Tonight showed how we need to improve the team though, we won’t get through the next round with that team, no way.
bloody disgrace that we have to qualify anyway, last 16 last season, beating the mighty Barca enroute and still we have to play qualifiers
these rounds should be for your 2nd 3rd 4th placed so called top league teams, but suppose money talks at uefa and we dont rank alongside the likes of the mighty man cities or arsenals of this world!

That was a hurdle overcome on a dodgy pitch with a ref who wouldn’t let anything go.
Here’s hoping Big Derk is fit for all our European ties this year (even if Lenny has to wrap him in cotton wool back in Glasgow) – on the basis of those thirty-odd minutes he looks like he’s exactly what we’ve been missing and he might destroy a few defences if given the chance.
